A flexible clamping fixture

Abstract

This utility model discloses a flexible clamping fixture, comprising: a base, a placement frame on the top of the base, and symmetrically arranged retractable airbag clamps on the inner side of the placement frame. Each retractable airbag clamp has a vent hole at its bottom center, which is connected to a fixed connecting shaft. A T-shaped air passage is formed at the bottom center of the base, and the opposite side of the bottom end of the connecting shaft is connected to the left and right ends of the T-shaped air passage. The bottom end of the T-shaped air passage is connected to a vacuum pump. By using a pleated retractable airbag clamp in conjunction with a flexible clamping plate, and connecting the connecting shaft and the T-shaped air passage for conventional vacuuming operations, the pleated portion of the airbag folds downwards and retracts, causing the flexible clamping plate to press down at a 45° angle to clamp the workpiece to be tested, thus completing the flexible clamping operation and avoiding rigid contact. Simultaneously, the flexible contact method is used to hold workpieces of different shapes, improving the overall applicability of the fixture.
