A low parasitic inductance thin film capacitor

Abstract

This utility model relates to a low parasitic inductance thin-film capacitor. The capacitor includes a positive busbar, a negative busbar, capacitor core units, common-mode capacitor units, a grounding unit, a common-mode inductor, and a differential-mode X capacitor. The negative busbar is mounted on the positive busbar and forms a placement space. The capacitor core units are installed within the placement space. The common-mode capacitor units are mounted on and connected to both the positive and negative busbars. The grounding unit is mounted on and connected to the common-mode capacitor units. The differential-mode X capacitor is mounted on either the positive or negative busbar and connected to both. The common-mode inductor is mounted on both the positive and negative busbars. The redesigned capacitor structure solves the bottleneck problem in the development of motor drive systems towards higher power density, higher efficiency, and higher reliability.
