A new type of dust-resistant smoke detector

Abstract

This utility model discloses a novel dust and smoke detector, including an upper shell and a fixed base. The outer shell houses a smoke detection chamber, and the outer cover of the smoke detection chamber is equipped with a protective cover. A light emitting device and a light receiving device are electrically connected to a circuit board. The circuit board fixes the detector's fixed base via a fixing plate. A smoke detection area is set inside the smoke detection chamber. The top cover and the side of the smoke detection chamber form smoke and dust inlets. External smoke particles pass through the smoke and dust inlets and reach the smoke detection area via the smoke channel. The dust interception device includes a grid structure, comprising: a first grid plate set on the top cover of the upper shell and extending inward; a second grid set between the top cover of the upper shell and the side of the smoke detection chamber; and a third grid opened on the side of the smoke detection chamber. The grid structure of the dust interception device makes the smoke channel form a serpentine curved channel. This utility model smoke detector effectively prevents dust from entering, avoiding contamination malfunctions or fire alarm signals.
