Abstract

Embodiments of the present application provide a resistor and an electronic device, wherein the resistor comprises: a first resistance core and a second resistance core, a first end of the first resistance core being electrically connected to a second end of the second resistance core through a first conductive structure; a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate, the first electrode plate being electrically connected to a third end of the first resistance core, and the second electrode plate being electrically connected to a fourth end of the second resistance core; a first insulating substrate, a second insulating substrate and a third insulating substrate; wherein the first electrode plate, the first insulating substrate, the first resistance core, the third insulating substrate, the second resistance core, the second insulating substrate and the second electrode plate are sequentially stacked along a target direction; and a material used by the first conductive structure has a melting point lower than that of a material used by the first resistance core and lower than that of a material used by the second resistance core. In this way, when a short circuit failure of the resistor causes a large current to pass through, the short circuit failure is converted into an open circuit failure, thereby improving the explosion-proof capability of the resistor.
