Hood and housing assembly for manufacturing a housing of a lamp arrangement of a hood

Abstract

The present application relates to an extractor hood, comprising a lamp device, the lamp device comprising a housing and a light-emitting element, the housing enclosing the light-emitting element, the housing comprising a first housing part and a second housing part, the first housing part having a first ridge, the first ridge protruding in a first direction towards the second housing part, a first ridge first longitudinal edge of a first ridge top surface of the first ridge forming a fusion bond with a shoulder of the second housing part corresponding to the first ridge first longitudinal edge, a first ridge second longitudinal edge of the first ridge top surface opposite the first ridge first longitudinal edge leaving an unfused bond chamfer section. The present application also relates to a corresponding housing assembly for manufacturing a housing of a lamp device of an extractor hood. The present application is advantageous, inter alia, in that an integral fusion bond of the housing can be ensured by a simple structural improvement.
