Abstract

1. Name of the product of this design: Main body of a cover for a cutting tool. 2. Purpose of the product of this design: The product of this design is used for a cover for a cutting tool, such as a cover for a side milling cutter. The part for which protection is requested as a partial design is the main body of the cover for the cutting tool. This design product is mounted on the body and holder of the side cutter by means of a cover set screw and a fixing bolt. By rotating the body of the side milling cutter to which the product of the present design is mounted, the workpiece is cut by the blade, and, for example, T-groove processing is performed. The coolant flowing in from the dimple portion flows into the oil reservoir through the cross groove of the present design product shown in the right side view, and is then supplied from the opening to the vicinity of the cutting edge of the insert. 3.
