System and procedures for cataloging and identifying vehicle spare parts with integration to modules for marketing (e-commerce), after-sales, engineering, supply chain and analytics

Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for cataloging and identifying vehicle parts that includes different search methods based on criteria such as: make; model; year; engine version; and color. These search methods include: manual search by vehicle; three-step dynamic search by vehicle; VIN search; and part search with images. These searches comprise a primary configuration that includes user-provided information such as make, model, year, and engine version, and a secondary configuration dependent on the primary configuration that includes user-provided information such as color. Additionally, the present invention includes a parts compatibility process and allows for the creation of kits with the products.On the other hand, the present invention is integrated into marketing or e-commerce, after-sales, engineering, supply chain and analytics modules, which allow complete product traceability, generating valuable information for different actors in the sector, such as assemblers, manufacturers, points of sale, authorized workshops and the end customer.
