Substituted aryl sulfonamides for use as sodium channel inhibitors

Abstract

This disclosure provides compounds having Formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, and stereoisomers thereof, wherein M1, M2, M3, M4, Z, n, R5, R6, W, A, and R9 are defined as set forth in the explanatory memorandum. This disclosure is also directed to the use of Formula I compounds to inhibit sodium channels (e.g., Nav1.7) and / or to treat a disorder that responds to inhibition of a sodium channel (e.g., Nav1.7). The compounds in this disclosure may be useful for treating pain.
