Abstract

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, methods, apparatus, and software products are provided configured at least for: selecting an integer N0 of channel status information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources from an integer NTRP of CSI-RS resources configured to a resource pool associated with a CSI notification configuration, wherein N < NTRP; determining a scaling factor for the resource pool; determining at least one CSI component, based at least in part on an assumption that a ratio of a transmitted per resource element (EPRE) energy of a PDSCH signal and a transmitted EPRE of the nth CSI-RS resource is equal to the scaling factor multiplied by a power control offset configured for the nth CSI-RS resource of the resource pool, wherein n ∈ [1, N];and transmit a CSI notification to a network comprising at least one specified CSI component.
