Abstract

A multi-branch electrofusion fitting for connecting three pipe sections, the multi-branch electrofusion fitting comprising a housing comprising three ends arranged to connect respectively to the three pipe sections, and three electrofusion branches, the three electrofusion branches being connected respectively to the three ends and comprising a locking system, an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve, wherein the inner sleeve comprises resistance wires and thermoplastic material, the locking system being arranged to mechanically fix the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve and wherein the resistance wires can be connected to an electrical power source to melt a surface of the inner sleeve.
