Pesticide formulation and preparation process

Abstract

A vegetable oil-based formulation that is an oil-in-water emulsion (OIL / WATER) comprising at least one refined vegetable oil with a flash point above 260°C; at least one anionic surfactant, at least one non-ionic surfactant, or a combination thereof; at least one rheology additive that is an ionic polysaccharide; and water; wherein the formulation has an active ingredient content of approximately 31% by weight and approximately 69% by weight, and the remainder of the formulation, up to 100% by weight, is water; and wherein the viscosity of the formulation is from approximately 100 cP to approximately 1500 cP (25°C, Brookfield HV viscometer, 20 rpm). A method of manufacturing said formulation and uses thereof.
