Linking functionality monitoring resources to functionality resources

Abstract

The example modalities in this description generally refer to the linking of functionality monitoring resources with functionality resources. The method comprises: receiving, from a network node, at least one channel status information (IEC) reporting configuration associated with functionality monitoring of at least one first device functionality, wherein the at least one first functionality is associated with a first resource configuration and the functionality monitoring is associated with a functionality monitoring resource configuration; obtaining linking information indicating a link between the functionality monitoring resource configuration and the first resource configuration or a link between the functionality monitoring resource configuration and a second resource configuration associated with at least one second device functionality;and determine the set of functionality monitoring resources used to monitor at least one initial functionality based on the link information and the configuration of functionality monitoring resources.
