Abstract

The present invention describes a process for treating a raw material derived from a renewable source, comprising a hydrotreatment step (a), a separation step (b) of at least a portion of the effluent obtained from step (a) into at least a light fraction and at least a hydrocarbon effluent, a hydroconversion step (c) of the hydrocarbon effluent obtained from step (c), using at least one specific bifunctional catalyst comprising at least one noble metal of Group VIII selected from platinum and palladium and a support comprising at least one zeolite selected from zeolites with structure code MTW and zeolite IZM-2, alone or in mixture, and at least one binder, and a separation step (d) of the effluent obtained from step (c), enabling the separation of at least a gaseous fraction and at least a liquid hydrocarbon effluent.and a step (e) of fractionating the hydrocarbon effluent obtained in step (d) into at least a kerosene cut, at least a heavy cut with an initial boiling point of between 250 and 300 °C, with recycling all or part of said heavy cut obtained in said step (e) back to the hydroconversion step (c).
