Therapeutic antibodies targeting the wisp1 protein

Abstract

This document provides antibodies and antibody fragments that specifically bind to WNT1-inducible signaling pathway 1 (WISP1) protein 1. The anti-WISP1 antibodies provided herein bind to domain 3 of the WISP1 protein and have been shown to inhibit WISP1 protein activity. Anti-WISP1 antibodies are considered effective for treating and preventing fibrosis in patients in need. Fibrosis is defined as either hepatic fibrosis or pulmonary fibrosis.
