Abstract
A method comprises receiving, via a wireless device, one or more configuration parameters that indicate the transmission power of a synchronization signal block (SSB) from a cell. The method further comprises, before receiving a system information block (SIB1) from the cell, transmitting a wake-up signal (WUS) to request on-demand transmission of the cell's SIB1, based on the transmission power of the cell's SSB. The method also further comprises, upon transmitting the WUS, receiving the cell's SIB1.
