Abstract

Among other things, an apparatus is disclosed comprising: means for receiving channel state information (CSI), a reporting configuration indicating a first set of downlink reference signals (DL-RS) for monitoring the CSI report, the first set of DL-RS being configured as the source RS of a first set of transmit configuration indicator (TCI) states; means for monitoring the first set of DL-RS; means for receiving a UE-initiated reporting configuration indicating a second set of DL-RS for monitoring the UE-initiated report, the second set of DL-RS being configured as the source RS of a second set of TCI states, and having at least one element not belonging to the first set of DL-RS; means for monitoring the second set of DL-RS in addition to the first set of DL-RS;and means for autonomously reporting information related to one or more selected preferred DL-RS from the second set of monitored DL-RS. Other devices, as well as the corresponding methods, software programs, and computer-readable storage media, are also disclosed.
