Liquid formulations of pantoprazole, stable during storage, directly injectable, their uses and manufacture

Abstract

The present invention provides a liquid, concentrated, and storage-stable composition of pantoprazole or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The invention further provides uses for the composition and packaging containers comprising the composition. In particular, the present invention relates to stable formulations of pantoprazole sodium, stored at controlled ambient temperature, in the form of a ready-to-use liquid solution or in the form of a formulation ready for dilution with infusion solution, and to processes for its preparation and use.
