A rear door for a car and method of installation of lamps to such door

Abstract

A rear door (1) for a car comprising an outer cover (2) with left and right recesses (3) for a left lamp (7) and a right lamp (7), at least two connecting elements (9), a light strip (8), a right lamp (7) and a left lamp (7). The right lamp (7) is connected to the left lamp (7) by a light strip (8). Each lamp (7) comprises at least one opening (10) for floating attachment of the connecting element (9). The left lamp (7) is removably attached by a first connecting element (9) in the left recess (3). The right lamp (7) is removably attached by a second connecting element (9) in the right recess (3). The light strip (8) is glued to the outer cover (2). The method of mounting lamps (7) and a light strip (8) to an outer cover (2) includes the step of applying adhesive material to the light strip (8) and attaching connecting elements (9) to the lamps (7) and the step of attaching the lamps (7) in the recesses (3) of the outer cover (2) and gluing the light strip (8) to the outer cover (2).
