The invention relates to a device for recovering energy from vehicle vibrations with wheel carriers forming the unsprung mass of the vehicle and connected via a suspension to the vehicle body forming the sprung mass of the vehicle and its essence lies in the fact that the wheel carrier (1) (4) is connected to a transmission (6) of the sliding movement into the rotational movement, the output of which is connected to a flywheel (9) connected via a connecting element (10) to an energy storage generator (11) connected to an energy accumulator (12).
