Abstract

In a rocket engine with a kinetic accelerator, the propellant mixtures are converted by thermal reaction into exhaust gases in the combustion chamber (1), from where they are led to the kinetic accelerator (2), where they gain directed kinetic energy, from there they continue to the transition chamber (3), where the exhaust gas flow is further directed before entering the nozzle (4), where the final expansion takes place.
