A method of home non-instrumental determination of micturition parameters

Abstract

A method of determining micturition parameters, including the urine flow profile, where the average micturition flow rate (Qave) is calculated from the total micturition volume (V) and total micturition time (T), and from this the maximum micturition flow rate (Qmax) is calculated using the UF constant. The UF score is then calculated, where the UF score characterizes the urine flow profile as extra strong stream, moderate stream, and weak stream.
