Abstract

This solution relates to the field of mineral processing and refining, specifically to the treatment and method of controlling the movement of a settling screen, and can be used in enrichment plants in the coal and mining industries. A treatment comprising a movable screen and a screen drive system has been developed, where the screen drive system allows the screen movement speed and screen acceleration to be set separately for the compaction and loosening phases within the treatment. A method of controlling the movement of a treatment screen using a drive system has also been developed, where the screen drive system allows the screen movement speed and screen acceleration to be set separately for the compaction and loosening phases within the treatment. Thus, such an extractor and a method of controlling the movement of an extraction screen have been developed, the structure and sequence of steps of which ensure the achievement of a technical result consisting in improving the separation efficiency, enabling the separation of raw materials with different compositions, reducing the separation time and saving the organization's material resources.
