Abstract

A conveying device comprising a workpiece tray (500), a conveying rail (600) for the workpiece tray, a conveying path (300) for a movable element, and a plurality of movable elements that can move along the conveying path (300) for the movable element, and that convey a workpiece placed on the workpiece tray (500) so as to transfer the workpiece tray (500) from a starting movable element (100) to a target movable element (200), wherein the conveying device is configured such that each of the movable elements has a movable element body (101, 201) and a movable element engagement portion (102, 202) that detachably engages the workpiece tray (500), and in a respective region, the movable element engagement portion (102) of the initial movable element (100) is disengaged from the workpiece tray (500) and the engagement portion (102) of the moving element of the target moving element (200) is connected to the workpiece magazine (500),whereby the workpiece stack (500) is transferred from the initial moving element (100) to the target moving element (200).,
