An axial gas turbine

Abstract

An axial gas turbine contains a stator (1) the inner wall of which has the shape of a truncated cone jacket, with an inlet opening with the diameter (D1s) and the outlet opening with the diameter (D2s), and a rotor that contains a cylindrical hub (2) and the blades (3) fixed to its surface. Each blade (3) has a leading edge (31), a trailing edge (32), an outer edge (33), which faces the wall of the stator (1) and a root area, where the blade (3) is adjacent to the hub (2). The wrap angle (Θn) of the root area of each blade (3) increases continuously from 0° at the leading edge (31) to 80° to 100° at the trailing edge (32). The wrap angle (Θn) of the root area of the blade (3) for each measured point of the midline of the root area of the blade (3) is the angle made between the axial plane, where the point of the midline of the root area on the leading edge (31) of the blade (3) is located, with the axial plane, where the measure point of the midline of the root area of the blade (3) is located.
