Abstract

Online banking procedure for the secure electronic transmission of data from a first data processing facility (1) to a second data processing facility (2), wherein the data transmission relates to a transfer transaction, in which: - means for obtaining a plurality of transaction codes from a plurality of indexes are transmitted to a user or the first data processing facility (1) for the data transmission to the second data processing facility (2); and - the electronic data transmission from the first data processing facility (1) to the second data processing facility (2) is linked to one of the plurality of transaction codes, wherein the index (15) of this one transaction code is related to the transmitted data; and - the data are used to determine the index (15) of the one transaction code, which is to be protected against alteration.- wherein the index (15) of a transaction code is derived from digits of the recipient's account number (14) and digits of the amount for a transfer and- wherein the index directly corresponds to the data to be secured.
