Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a connecting arrangement for connecting two furniture parts which can be moved relative to one another, in particular a front panel of a drawer and a drawer base, according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a drawer.

[0002] Since drawer front panels are typically attached to the drawer side frames via only two fastening points, dynamic loading of the front panel, such as a tensile force acting on the front panel when the drawer is pulled out, results in bending deformations of the front panel, especially with wide panels with a relatively large width of, for example, 700 mm to 1200 mm. Especially with these latter-mentioned wide drawers, loading such a drawer also results in a deflection of the drawer base perpendicular to the plane of the drawer base, due to the self-supporting width of this drawer.

[0003] To address this problem, EP 1 645 211 A2 discloses connecting and thus stabilizing the drawer base and front panel with a stabilizing device. This stabilizing device is mounted on the drawer base and front panel and has a flexible center section that allows relative movement between these two furniture parts. The stabilization of the two furniture parts relative to each other is achieved through the tensile rigidity of the stabilizing device.

[0004] JP 2010 172354 A discloses a connecting arrangement in the form of an angle bracket, which is screwed to the inside of the front panel on one side and to the drawer bottom on the other. To enable the front panel to be adjusted perpendicularly to its front surface, elongated holes are provided in the part of the bracket resting on the drawer bottom. The screws screwed into the drawer bottom allow the front panel to be moved relative to the drawer bottom by the length of the elongated holes before tightening. Further connecting arrangements are known from the publications DE 2 237 477 A, DE 2 124 255 A, DE 1 166 428 A, and DE 299 15 097 U1.

[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a connecting arrangement which can be produced simply and cost-effectively and is easy to assemble, with which two furniture parts can be connected to one another in such a way that a displacement of the two furniture parts relative to one another along at least one directional axis is prevented and is possible to a limited extent along at least one other directional axis.

[0006] This object is achieved by a connecting arrangement having the features of claim 1.

[0007] According to the invention, the connecting arrangement has a holding plate on which at least one first mounting means for mounting the holding plate to the drawer front panel is arranged. In addition, the connecting arrangement according to the invention has a second mounting means for mounting the holding plate to the drawer base, wherein the second mounting means can be inserted through an elongated hole in the holding plate extending relative to the first mounting means from a side facing away from the drawer base in the functional position and can be displaced along the longitudinal axis of the elongated hole, wherein the holding plate is arranged in the functional position between the drawer base and a projection of the second mounting means which at least partially overlaps the edges of the elongated hole, and wherein the length of the part of the second mounting means which can be inserted into the elongated hole is greater than the thickness of the holding plate.A mounting element of the second mounting means is formed integrally with the holding plate.

[0008] The connecting arrangement according to the invention has the significant advantage that it can be manufactured very easily, for example as an injection-molded part.

[0009] Furthermore, with the connecting arrangement according to the invention, a first and a second furniture part can be connected to one another in such a way that a limited displacement of the two furniture parts relative to one another parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongated hole in the retaining plate is possible, but transverse to the longitudinal axis of the elongated hole in the retaining plate is prevented. The distance between the projection of the second mounting means and the drawer base is only larger than the thickness of the retaining plate to the extent necessary to allow for a slight amount of play to ensure mobility.

[0010] In an exemplary assembly of the connecting arrangement according to the invention on a drawer of a piece of furniture, in particular with the at least one first assembly means on the rear side of the drawer front panel and with the second assembly means on the underside of a drawer base, wherein the holding plate extends below the base and the elongated hole in the holding plate extends parallel to the front panel, a sideways bending of the front panel relative to the base for adjustment or to compensate for tolerances is still possible. However, the connecting arrangement counteracts bending deformation of the front panel due to high tensile forces. In addition, in this example, the holding plate of the connecting arrangement can act to support the drawer base and at least limit deflection of the drawer base under heavy loads.

[0011] Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.

[0012] According to an advantageous embodiment, the distance between the projection of the second mounting means and the second furniture part is greater than the thickness of the holding plate in such a way that a displacement of the two furniture parts relative to each other is also possible to a limited extent perpendicular to the plane of the holding plate.

[0013] In an exemplary assembly of this embodiment of the connecting arrangement according to the invention on a drawer between the drawer front panel and the drawer base according to the above-mentioned example, in addition to a lateral movement, a limited upward or downward movement of the front panel relative to the base for adjustment or to compensate for tolerances is also possible, with the connecting arrangement further counteracting bending deformation of the front panel due to high tensile forces. Deflection of the drawer base under heavy load can also limit this embodiment of the connecting arrangement as soon as the base rests on the retaining plate.

[0014] Depending on the embodiment, the first and / or second mounting means can be formed in one or more parts.

[0015] According to one embodiment, the first mounting means is formed in one piece, in particular in the form of a dowel with ribs or harpoon webs preferably formed at least partially on the outer side of the dowel.

[0016] According to a further embodiment, the first mounting means is designed in two parts, in particular comprising a substantially pin-like or screw-like first mounting element and a dowel-like second mounting element along the longitudinal axis of which a channel-like receiving opening for the first mounting element is located from one end face, such that the second mounting element can be fixed to the first furniture part by means of the first mounting element.

[0017] According to one embodiment, the second mounting means is designed in two parts, in particular comprising a substantially pin-like or screw-like first mounting element and a sleeve-like second mounting element for receiving the first mounting element, such that the second mounting element can be fixed to the second furniture part by means of the first mounting element, wherein a projection is formed at least partially on the outer side of the first and / or second mounting element.

[0018] According to a further embodiment, the second mounting means is formed in one piece, in particular in the form of a pin-like or screw-like mounting element, on the outer side of which a projection, in particular a head part, is formed at least partially.

[0019] Furthermore, according to a further embodiment, the second mounting means or a mounting element of the second mounting means can be designed such that it can be introduced with its circumference in a form-fitting manner into a corresponding opening, in particular a bore, on the second furniture part, wherein ribs or harpoon webs are preferably formed at least partially on the outer circumference of the mounting element.

[0020] The second mounting means, in particular a mounting element of the second mounting means, can have a round, oval or square cross-section depending on the embodiment, wherein the contour of the elongated hole in the holding plate for receiving the second mounting means is designed correspondingly.

[0021] The connection between the mounting element, which is formed integrally with the retaining plate, and the retaining plate is preferably made via a loss-prevention device, particularly in the form of an elastic band. This facilitates, in particular, the assembly of the connecting arrangement.

[0022] According to a further embodiment of the invention, at least one mounting element of the first mounting means is integrally formed on a first end face of the retaining plate facing the first furniture part in the assembled state and extends substantially parallel to the plane of the retaining plate. At least one section of the mounting element forms an angle with the side of the retaining plate facing the second furniture part in the assembled state, into which angle an edge region of the second furniture part can be inserted. This enables a low overall height of the connecting arrangement.

[0023] According to a further embodiment, the side of the retaining plate facing the second furniture part in the assembled state is formed in the area in front of the first mounting means with a recess for partially accommodating a head portion of a first pin- or screw-like mounting element that can be inserted into the second mounting element of the first mounting means. This enables an even lower overall height of the connecting arrangement.

[0024] In the following, embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0025] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the connecting arrangement, the retaining plate, and the like chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting; i.e., these references may change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design, etc.

[0026] They show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of an embodiment variant of a connecting arrangement according to the invention with the second mounting means brought into the mounting position, Fig. 2 a side view of the connection arrangement Fig. 1, Fig. 3 a view from behind of the connection arrangement of the Fig. 1, Fig. 4 and 5 Top views of the connection arrangement from Fig. 1 with different positioning of the sleeve in the slot of the support plate, Fig. 6 a plan view of the connection arrangement of Fig. 1 before folding the second assembly part into the assembly position, Fig. 7 a rear view of the connection arrangement Fig. 6, Fig. 8 a side view of the connection arrangement from Fig. 6, Fig. 9 a side view of a drawer with a connecting arrangement attached thereto, Fig. 10 a view of the drawer from below Fig. 9, Fig. 11 a view of the drawer Fig. 9 from the rear towards the back of the drawer front panel, Fig. 12 a detailed view of the connecting arrangement attached to the drawer base and the front panel of the drawer, Fig. 13 a side view of the detail from Fig. 12.

[0027] In the Fig. 1 is designated by the reference numeral 1 as a whole by a variant of a connecting arrangement for connecting two furniture parts of a piece of furniture, in particular a front panel 61 of a drawer 6 and a drawer bottom 63, as shown in the Fig. 9 to 13, wherein the front panel 62 and the drawer bottom 63 should also be laterally and, expediently, vertically displaceable or adjustable relative to one another even with the mounted connecting arrangement 1.

[0028] The connecting arrangement 1 has a holding plate in the form of a support plate 2, with a substantially flat upper side 21, on which a drawer base 63 can be supported with its underside in the assembled state of the connecting arrangement 1. On a first end face 24 (cf. Fig. 2, Fig. 8, Fig. 13) of the support plate 2, two mounting elements 3 of two first mounting means for mounting the connecting arrangement 1 to the first furniture part, in particular the front panel 61, are arranged. It is also conceivable to arrange only one first mounting means or more than two mounting means.

[0029] In the preferred embodiment shown, each of the mounting means is designed in two parts with a first mounting element 5 in the form of a screw and a second mounting element 3 in the form of a dowel, in particular a dowel with slots 31 and harpoon webs 32, which can be inserted into corresponding bores on the inside of the front panel 61 and can be fixed by means of the screw 5 inserted into the dowel from the support plate 2.

[0030] In this example, the dowels 3 extend away from a first end face 24 of the support plate 2 as a component formed integrally with the support plate 2.

[0031] To facilitate the insertion of the first assembly elements 5, i.e., the screws 5, into the second assembly elements 3, i.e., the dowels 3, recesses 23 are formed in the upper side 21 of the support plate 2, which faces the second furniture part 63 in the assembled state, in the area in front of each dowel 3 for partially receiving a head portion 51 of the respective screw 5. This enables easy insertion of the screws 5 while simultaneously providing good support for the end face of the respective dowel 3 on the first end face 24 of the support plate 2.

[0032] In the preferred embodiment shown, a mounting element 4 of a second mounting means is formed on a second end face of the support plate 2 opposite the first end face 24. This mounting element 4 is the second mounting element of the two-part second mounting means and is designed in the form of a sleeve 42 with a circumferentially formed collar 43, while the first mounting element 7 of the second mounting means is designed as a screw 7 (see FIG. Fig. 13). The collar 43 of the second mounting element 4 and the support plate 2 are connected to each other by an elastic band 41. Deviating from the example shown, the mounting element 4 can be connected to the support plate 2 by means of the band 41 at a different location instead of at the second end face. A variant is also conceivable in which the second mounting means or at least one of its mounting elements is not formed integrally with the support plate 2, but as a separate component.

[0033] As in Fig. 1, in the example shown, the sleeve 42 can be inserted into an elongated hole 22 in the support plate 2, which elongated hole 22 extends parallel to the first end face 24, from a bottom side facing away from the second furniture part in the functional position up to a maximum of the collar 43, wherein the collar 43 in the functional position at least partially overlaps the edges of the elongated hole 22, as is also the case in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 is recognizable.

[0034] The one-piece construction of the second mounting element 4 with the support plate 2 is very advantageous for assembly purposes, since the elastic band 41, which connects the support plate 2 to the collar 43, serves as a loss protection.

[0035] As in the Fig. 4 and Fig. As can be seen in Figure 5, the slotted hole 22 in the support plate 2 allows for a lateral displacement of the connecting arrangement 1 in the assembled state of the connecting arrangement on the first and second furniture part. Fig. 4 shows the sleeve 42 guided through the slot 22 in a position at one end of the slot 22, the Fig. 5 the positioning of the sleeve 42 at the other end of the elongated hole 22.

[0036] In the Fig. 6 to 8, the embodiment variant of the connecting arrangement 1 shown in the previous figures is shown in an initial state, ie before the second mounting element 4 is folded into its mounting position. This can be clearly seen in particular in the Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 the partial insertion of the screws 5 in the recesses 23 on the upper side 21 of the support plate 2.

[0037] In the Fig. 9 to 13, a drawer 6 is shown with a front panel 61 that is height and side adjustable relative to a drawer base 63. The drawer base 63 is connected to the front panel 61 of the drawer 6 via the connecting arrangement 1.

[0038] Fig. 10 shows the drawer 6 from below, whereby the central position of the support plate 2 can be seen here, on which the drawer bottom 63 can be additionally supported, provided that it rests on the support plate 2, so that deflection due to a heavy load of the drawer 6 can at least be limited.

[0039] Fig. Figure 11 again shows the drawer bottom 63 and the front panel 61 from the rear of the drawer 6. This shows, on the one hand, the fastening of the drawer bottom 63 and the front panel 61 to the side frames 62 of the drawer 6, and, on the other hand, the connecting arrangement 1 mounted on the drawer bottom 63 and the front panel 61.

[0040] Fig. 12 shows again the assembled connection arrangement 1 from the Fig. 11 shown perspective in a detailed view. The screws 5 are screwed completely into the two dowels 3 extending away from the support plate 2. One end face of the sleeve 42 rests against the underside of the drawer base 63 due to the fixation by means of the screw 7, while the collar 43 located in the area of the other end face of the sleeve 42 rests against the underside of the support plate 2 facing away from the drawer base 63. It can be seen that the distance between the collar 43 and the drawer base 63 is greater than the thickness of the support plate 2, and the resulting play also allows a height adjustment of the front panel 61 relative to the drawer base 63. In the Fig. 11 and Fig. 12, however, only a lowering of the front panel 61 relative to the base 63 is possible, since the collar 43 already rests against the underside of the support plate 2 and would hinder further raising of the front panel 61 relative to the base. Lowering the front panel from the position shown is possible to the extent that the base 63 does not yet rest on the upper side of the support plate 2 facing the base 63.

[0041] In Fig. Figure 13 illustrates the assembly of the connecting assembly 1 on the drawer base 63 using the sleeve 4 and the screw 7 as the second assembly means. As can be clearly seen, the collar 43 has a bevel extending toward the sleeve opening, which allows a screw 7 with a beveled head to be completely countersunk into the collar 43 of the sleeve 42.

[0042] In particular from the Fig. 11 to 13 it is clear that the possible extent of the height adjustment is determined by the height or length of the sleeve 4 and generally by the distance between the projection of the second mounting means and the second furniture part in relation to the thickness of the support or holding plate. Furthermore, it is particularly clear from the Fig. 1, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 clearly shows that the possible extent of lateral adjustability is determined by the length of the elongated hole 22.

[0043] In principle and independently of the embodiment shown in the figures, a connecting arrangement according to the invention can of course also be used to connect other furniture parts, wherein the arrangement and orientation of the holding plate, the elongated hole and the mounting means in relation to one another and in relation to the first and second furniture part depends on the at least one direction in which the connected furniture parts continue to be displaceable relative to one another and in which at least one other direction displaceability is prevented.
