Description

[0001] The invention relates firstly to a roller shutter box according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] Roller shutter boxes as mentioned above have already been disclosed in various forms. Reference is made, for example, to DE 296 14 006 U1, DE 10 2005 008 387 A1, and DE 10 2007 003 664 A1.

[0003] DE 10 2005 008 387 A1 addresses the problem of improving the stability of a connection between a window frame and the attached roller shutter box. However, particularly when wind loads act on the window, this can also result in stress that leads to undesirable movement of the window with the attached roller shutter box.

[0004] In this context, it has already become known to install a profile part in the roller shutter box, which is connected on the one hand to the window frame, passing through the bottom of the roller shutter box, and on the other hand to a casing cover, passing through the top of the roller shutter box. However, these profile parts, which can also be called structural parts, are difficult to install. In the event of an overhaul, for example, if the roller shutter curtain needs to be replaced, complete disassembly is required.

[0005] DE 20 2008 000 251 U1 discloses a roller shutter box with a structural component. The structural component is connected to the frame at the bottom with self-tapping screws. It has a plate-shaped fastening section at the bottom, which also has fork sections at the same level for plug-in connection. The structural component has plate-shaped fastening sections at the top. When installed, an additional fastening component rests on one fastening section and below the casing's lintel. The tension rods penetrating the structural component are directly connected to the casing's ceiling.

[0006] From DE 20 2011 001 958 U1 a static fastening plate with a lower and an upper fastening plate is known, which can be screwed to the building ceiling and the window frame by means of drill holes provided therein.

[0007] Based on the prior art described, the invention is concerned with the task of specifying a roller shutter box which can be mounted particularly advantageously.

[0008] This object is achieved in the subject matter of claim 1, wherein the static part is plug-connected to an adapter strip arranged on the bottom side of the roller shutter box, which adapter strip in turn is firmly connected to the window or door frame.

[0009] The static part is designed as a plug-in part, for which purpose the static part has a step section on the floor side that runs offset from another floor-parallel floor area of the static part or forms a ceiling plate section that extends horizontally and a separate ceiling fastening plate is provided that can initially be anchored in a housing ceiling and wherein the ceiling plate section of the static part can be screwed to the ceiling fastening plate for the indirect screwing of the static part to the housing ceiling.

[0010] The static part is preferably formed in two parts, with a ceiling part and a floor part, in which the parts are further connected to one another immovably, at least in the vertical direction, but detachably, in addition the ceiling part has a vertical section which is aligned in the transverse direction of the roller shutter box, and in which the floor part and the ceiling part also have a section running parallel to the floor or ceiling.

[0011] The areal extension in the transverse direction means that the vertical section is designed, for example, as a flat part arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the roller shutter box.

[0012] The two-part design of the static part allows the static parts to be connected to each other only after installation. It can also be separated again once the roller shutter box is installed, so that the parts can be easily removed and allow access to the roller shutter curtain, for example. Because the parts are immovably connected in the vertical direction, the main forces to be absorbed by the static part, namely transverse to a longitudinal extent of the roller shutter box, can be effectively absorbed. It is also particularly important for this purpose that the vertical section has a greater extent in the transverse direction of the roller shutter box than in the longitudinal direction. It is preferred that the static part has a higher section modulus with regard to movement in the transverse direction of the roller shutter box, in particular against bending between the ceiling part and the floor part, than in the longitudinal direction of the roller shutter box. Finally, the sections running parallel to the floor or ceiling are advantageous with regard to the attachment and anchoring of the structural part to the ceiling on the one hand and to the frame on the other.

[0013] The ceiling part and the floor part are two parts of the structural component which extend in a manner deviating from a spacing and / or connecting region running between them, which is also referred to above and below as a vertical section. They preferably extend in the same plane of extension, more preferably parallel to one another and / or at right angles to the spacing or connecting region. The connection of these parts in the vertical direction can also be described as a connection in the direction of the floor or ceiling part. One part, the ceiling part, as well as the other part, the floor part, preferably have sections running parallel to one another, which are angled to the regions that create the connection between these parts. The parallel alignment only needs to be essentially present. It is understood that the alignment can also deviate from the parallel by a few degrees, e.g. up to 5° or 10°.

[0014] With regard to a greater extension in the transverse direction of the roller shutter box, the transverse direction is also given as the direction of extension in which the base part extends beyond the ceiling part, as is the case with the preferred embodiment. In a vertical projection, i.e. in a projection in the direction of extension between the floor area and the ceiling area, the base part projects further to one side than the ceiling part. In the installed state, the base part is preferably formed to extend up to or almost to the rear wall of the roller shutter box, but also to overlap the frame in order to create the intended fixed connection. In this case, the base part can also be formed in several parts.

[0015] The structural component is designed as a plug-in part associated with the window or door frame. It can, for example, be arranged so as to engage only behind the frame. For this purpose, the structural component has a bent section or a section that is offset in height from the wider floor area, forming, for example, a plug-in tongue. This can absorb the movement of the frame toward the interior of the room, which is primarily intended to be absorbed in the event of a corresponding wind load, for example. On the other hand, it is also realistic to want to prevent outward movement. Such a load can arise, for example, from a negative pressure acting on the window or door from the outside.

[0016] For this purpose, it is preferred that the frame is also at least positively received with respect to the structural component, allowing movement both toward the room and the outside. For example, a shoe-like overlap of the structural component with respect to the frame can be realized.

[0017] The structural part can also be designed, preferably only, with an overlapping part that is connected to the frame on the outside. The overlapping part can, for example, be designed to extend through the opening for the roller shutter curtain. It can also be screwed to the frame from the outside. This design creates a movement-preventing connection with the frame, both with regard to movement toward the room and toward the outside.

[0018] The structural part is plug-connected to a preferably metal adapter strip located in the roller shutter box base, which in turn is firmly connected to the window or door frame. Whenever reference is made to an adapter strip below, this always also refers to an adapter piece. The adapter strip differs from the adapter piece essentially only in that the adapter piece does not extend the entire length of the roller shutter box base, but rather several of these adapter pieces are arranged along the length of the roller shutter box base with individual gaps.

[0019] With regard to the adapter strip, reference can be made, for example, to DE 10 2005 008 387 A1 already mentioned at the beginning, the disclosure content of which with regard to the adapter strip is hereby incorporated in its entirety into the disclosure of the present application, also in order to include features described in the cited document in the claims of the present application.

[0020] The plug-in connection is provided between the base part of the structural component and the adapter strip. The plug-in connection is preferably designed such that, when plugged in, a movement coupling, and thus ultimately a movement restriction, is created between the structural component and the adapter strip, and thus between the structural component and the frame, with regard to any movement of the frame toward the room side or toward the outside.

[0021] With regard to the static part, it is further preferred that a separate ceiling mounting plate is provided.

[0022] The ceiling mounting plate is first anchored in a casing ceiling, for example the reveal of a window, and the ceiling part of the static part is then screwed to the anchoring ceiling part.

[0023] In a further embodiment, the ceiling part can have an angled section that runs at an angle to the section associated with the ceiling and the section associated with the floor. The angled section extends parallel to a rear wall of the roller shutter box. This achieves greater stability for the ceiling part itself.

[0024] In a further embodiment, the ceiling part and / or the floor part can have a U-shaped cross-section. The U-shaped web can run vertically, i.e., transversely to the section associated with the ceiling and the section associated with the floor. However, it can also be designed to run parallel to the floor section of the floor part.

[0025] Furthermore, two or more ceiling and floor sections can be provided.

[0026] The invention is further explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings, which, however, represent only exemplary embodiments. Herein: Fig. 1 a cutaway view of a static part arranged in a top-mounted roller shutter box; Fig. 2 a cross-section with respect to the object according to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a perspective view of the structural part, inserted into an adapter strip of the roller shutter box; Fig. 4 a representation according to Fig. 2, with ceiling anchoring plate; Fig. 5 a representation of the static part inserted into an adapter strip according to Fig. 4, in a representation according to Fig. 3; Fig. 6 a representation with fastening on the outside of the frame; Fig. 7 a representation of the static part as it is arranged according to Fig. 6 is used; and Fig. 8a to Fig. 8d further possible embodiments of the static part.

[0027] It is presented and described first with reference to Fig. 1 is a surface-mounted roller shutter box 1, which is mounted on a frame 2, which in this case can be, for example, an upper window frame. The roller shutter box 1 has a room side 3 and an outside side 4.

[0028] Above the roller shutter box there is a building ceiling (not shown here), to which a box ceiling 5 is adjacent or only slightly spaced vertically from it.

[0029] The frame 2 is further connected to the housing ceiling by a structural member 6 extending through the roller shutter box 1. The structural member 6 serves, in particular, to prevent possible movement of the frame 2 toward the room side 3 or the exterior side 4.

[0030] The static part 6 is constructed in two parts, comprising a ceiling part 7 and a floor part 8. The ceiling part 7 and the floor part 8 are detachably connected to each other via screw connections 9, 10, but are immovably connected when connected.

[0031] The ceiling part 7 has a vertical section 11, which is designed as a flat part with an extension transverse to a longitudinal extension 12 of the roller shutter box 1. Thus, the vertical section 11 has a greater moment of resistance to deformation, here in particular bending, with regard to a stress in the transverse direction to the longitudinal extension 12 of the roller shutter box 1 than in the longitudinal extension 12 of the roller shutter box 1.

[0032] In the exemplary embodiment, the floor part 8 is designed as a section running parallel to the floor, with the exception of a stepped section 13, which will be explained further below. The ceiling part 7 has a section 14 running parallel to the ceiling. In the exemplary embodiment, the section 14 is formed as a single piece with the vertical section 11 as a bent sheet metal part.

[0033] The vertical section 11 also has a connecting section 14 running parallel to the floor, which in the exemplary embodiment is also designed as a bend in the vertical part 11. In further detail, the ceiling-parallel section 14 and the floor-parallel section 15 extend in opposite directions relative to the vertical section 11.

[0034] Section 15 has a plurality of through-holes 16 through which a screw connection to the base part 8 can be established. Likewise, the base part 8 has a plurality of such through-holes 16. This allows the vertical part 7 to be connected at different distances from a front or rear end (relative to the room or outside). This allows for easy adaptation to roller shutter boxes 1 of different sizes or widths.

[0035] As can be seen in particular from Fig. 2, the base part 8 of the static part 6 has a plug-in section 17 on the front side, facing the outer side 4. With the plug-in section 17, the base part 8 engages in a correspondingly formed rear grip 18 of the adapter strip 19. For this engagement, a window-like opening 21 can be formed in a base part 20 of the roller shutter box 1.

[0036] The adapter strip 19 is, in turn, firmly connected to the frame 2 by means of, for example, a screw connection 22. It is understood that a plurality of such screw connections 22 are provided along the length of the frame 2.

[0037] The adapter strip 19 is also preferably a metal strip.

[0038] By means of the step section 13, the base part 8 preferably rests against a back section 23 of the adapter strip 19. This creates a positive connection between the base part 8 and thus the structural part 6 as a whole and the adapter strip 19, and thus ultimately to the frame 2, which prevents movements both toward the outer side 4 and toward the room side 3 of the frame 2.

[0039] A clarification of the interaction between the adapter bar 19 and the static part 6 is also shown in the illustration of the Fig. 2.

[0040] The connection to the housing ceiling can be realized, for example, via screw / dowel connections 24, which preferably pass through the section 14 from the inside of the box and engage in the housing ceiling.

[0041] The vertical section 11 also preferably has, as shown Fig. 3, among other things, a circular arc-shaped taper 25 opening towards the outer side 4, for adapting the static part 6 to the course of the roller shutter curtain.

[0042] The representation of the Fig. 4 shows a modified form, on the one hand with regard to the connection to a housing ceiling and on the other hand with regard to a connection between the base part 8 and the vertical section 11.

[0043] The design of the vertical section 11 and the base part 8 can be provided in the same way in the first embodiment.

[0044] As can be seen from a summary of the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the base part 8 in this embodiment is designed as an angle part, with a vertical leg 26.

[0045] The screw connections 9, 10 are formed in the vertical leg 26 and, as can be seen, they are located vertically one above the other.

[0046] Additional screw connection openings could also be provided in a side-by-side arrangement in order to be able to adapt to different sizes if necessary.

[0047] On the one hand, the vertical section 11 has, corresponding to the first embodiment, a section 14 which extends parallel to the ceiling.

[0048] Furthermore, a separate plate, preferably a steel plate 27, is provided, which in turn is separately connected to the housing ceiling via screw / dowel connections 28. In the installed state, the ceiling section 14 of the structural part 6 is screwed to the plate 27 via screw connections 29, i.e., not directly to the housing ceiling.

[0049] A corresponding cutout in the box ceiling can be provided to penetrate the box ceiling 5. However, it can also be provided that only screws / dowels penetrate the box ceiling.

[0050] With reference to the Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 shows an external fastening of the structural part to the frame 2. For this purpose, an overlapping part 30 is provided in further detail, which has, on the one hand, a horizontal section 31 and, on the other hand, an outer section, preferably a vertical section 32. By means of the outer section or vertical section 32, the overlapping section 30 is firmly connected to the frame.

[0051] In the illustrated embodiment, the overlapping section 30 also has a rear grip 18 on the upper side, into which a front insertion tongue 33 engages. In this respect, the same conditions apply as in the embodiment of the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3.

[0052] Instead of a positive-locking plug-in connection, a further screw connection can also be formed on the upper side in the horizontal section 31 of the overlapping part 30. Furthermore, the base part 8 can alternatively also be formed integrally with the overlapping section 30.

[0053] This clearly shows that the structural component has a three-part structure, even with regard to the specific embodiment shown. The previously described embodiments can also comprise three or more parts. For example, an adapter piece or an adapter strip can also be considered an additional part of the structural component. Alternatively, the ceiling or vertical component can also have a separation, for example.

[0054] Where screw connections are described above between the individual parts, these may also be different connections, such as a riveted connection and / or a reversible plug-in connection by interlocking two form-fitting parts, such as the engagement of a toothed part in a toothed slot.

[0055] With reference to Fig. Figure 8a shows a further embodiment, which is characterized in that the ceiling part 7 is designed as a part that extends at an angle relative to a horizontal plane. In addition to the angle provided by the ceiling section 14, a bent section 34 is formed, which extends vertically as a plate part and runs at right angles to both the section 14 and the section 15, wherein the section 15 is formed integrally with the base part 8 in this embodiment.

[0056] A similar design is also possible if the section 15 is formed in one piece or connected to the ceiling part 7.

[0057] In the design of the Fig. 8b, a total of two floor sections 8 are provided, which in this variant are connected to a U-shaped ceiling section 7. The U-shape refers to the fact that, based on a horizontal cross-section or a cross-section in a plane parallel to the extension of the sections 15, two vertical sections 11 are connected via a web area 35. The web area 35 is designed to extend vertically. It also runs parallel to a rear wall of the associated roller shutter box.

[0058] It preferably runs in the same direction and has approximately the same dimensions as the bending section 34.

[0059] In this embodiment, as can be seen, two sections 14 are preferably formed on the ceiling side, each bent out from a vertical section 11.

[0060] The design of the Fig. 8c corresponds essentially to the embodiment of the Fig. 8b, however, the U-shape of the ceiling part 7 is formed by the U-web being designed to be parallel to the floor, i.e. parallel to the extension of the sections 15.

[0061] Both in the design of the Fig. 8b as well as in the embodiment of the Fig. 8c, the sections 15, which are formed in one piece with the base part 8, extend in opposite directions to each other with respect to the vertical base section 36.

[0062] In the design of the Fig. 8d is in principle the same design as in the embodiment of the Fig. 8b, except that here only one base part 8 is provided.

[0063] In the same way, the embodiment according to the Fig. 8c, for example, can be designed with only one base part.
