Abstract

Machine tool, in particular table saw, with at least one drive unit (12), with at least one workpiece support unit (14) for supporting a workpiece during machining, and with at least one linear bearing unit (16) for at least a translationally movable bearing of the drive unit (12) relative to the workpiece support unit (14), wherein at least one material collection unit (18), which comprises a removable material collection container (22), for at least collecting removed workpiece particles, which is kinetically connected to the drive unit (12), characterized in that the material collection unit (18) comprises at least one collection container guide element (24) which has a guide axis (28) extending at least substantially parallel to a workpiece support surface (26) of the workpiece support unit (14), wherein at least one linear guide element (32) of the linear bearing unit (16),considered along a direction extending at least substantially transversely to a workpiece support surface (26) of the workpiece support unit (14), located between the drive unit (12) and the material collection unit (18).
