Abstract

The invention relates to a hand-held sprayer for weed control in gardens, yards, and on paths. The hand-held sprayer has a thermally insulated water tank (2) for storing heated water, which has a filling opening (1) for filling with liquid water and an outlet opening connected to a nozzle assembly for spraying the previously heated water, and furthermore a water heating unit (4) for heating the water, wherein the water heating unit (4) is integrated into the water tank (2) and is electrically operated, for which purpose a mains connection is provided on the hand-held sprayer, wherein the water tank (2) has an outlet opening near the bottom to which a pressure hose (7) is connected.The invention is characterized in that the pressure hose (7) leads to a hand lance (8) and the hand syringe has an electrically operated pressure boosting device with an electrically driven pump, and the hand syringe is designed to pump the heated medium to the hand lance (8) via the pressure hose (7) after the heating process has ended.
