Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONThe invention relates to a cat furniture having at least one three-dimensional structure which is composed of at least two planar elements which are connected to one another at at at least one of their planar edges.A cat furniture, such as a cat scraper tree, a cat cavity or a climbing wall, is a piece of furniture which is matched to the specific requirements of domestic cats. Domestic cats are wild-type, infested cats which are held by their owner in a home and which often remain banned to their clearance, especially in urban rooms. Cats that can be maintained free travel can meet their specific needs, such as marmooths, explores, research, piracy, watching, and laurbers, outdoors on items present there. Domestic cats, on the other hand, must be given an opportunity in the respective home or the respective house to be able to carry out these requirements. In a home, therefore, particular attention should be paid to type-oriented damage, alternation and separate ranges, which are directed to their requirements and which correspond to the requirements of marmo sharpening, exploring, prying, observing and laurbling. Corresponding cat furniture can prevent the use of furniture, such as doors or furniture, as an alternative and thereby damage them.Cat furniture is generally known on the market, which usually consists of a plurality of firmly joined components. The components are generally a floor panel, one or more posts, a platform, and a cat cavity. The cat cavity is usually composed of surface elements or plates which are connected at their surface edges to form a box. The box has an opening towards one side so that the domestic cat can pass into this cat cavity. From Uyeda, Ben: HomeMade Modem, Episode 13-DIY Geometric Doghouse, https: / / www.youtube.com / watch? v=ZaCXC3s39rg it is known to babock an animal cavity made, among other things, of equilateral particle boards screwed together by means of rigid connecting blocks.U.S. Pat. No. 5,320,065 A discloses a cat's play house with a flat element designed as a developed view. This first surface element forms a surround in the form of a vertically oriented outer wall into which further surface elements are inserted as bases in a horizontally oriented manner.US 2014 0274432 A1 discloses an irrigant for cats which is produced from planar elements made of paper. The apparatus comprises an outer casing body and an inner laminated body. The outer case body is constructed of pentagonal and triangular shapes similar to a sphere.Underlying TaskThe invention is based on the object of producing a cat furniture item which meets the requirements of a domestic cat particularly well.Solution according to the inventionThis object is achieved according to the invention by a cat furniture item which is composed of at least two planar elements which are connected to one another at at at least one of their planar edges. The individual surface element is designed as a separate polygon and is provided at each of its polygonal edges with a fastening means, by means of which a connection to the fastening means of an adjacent surface element is to be produced. The planar element according to the invention is a flat, plate-shaped element which is designed as a polygon. A polygon has more than two polygon edges and more than two polygon vertices. The polygonal edges delimit the surface element and are substantially straight, in particular completely straight. The polygonal edges of the planar element according to the invention thus intersect or touch one another at the polygonal vertices. Polygons of this type are also referred to in mathematics as simple polygons.According to the invention, the single surface element in polygonal form is provided with a fastening means at each of its polygonal edges. With the fastening means, a first polygon and an adjacent second polygon are to be connected to one another in a fixed manner at their respective polygonal edges. The two polygons then together form a common surface element. In this way, according to the invention, a three-dimensional structure is formed in particular by the polygons connected to one another in this way. The polygonal edges of adjacent surface elements are in particular of the same length for this purpose. The advantage of such surface elements is that an individual cat furniture item adaptable to respective circumstances is to be designed by means of the surface elements. This cat furniture item is therefore to be assembled in modular fashion from individual, separate surface elements by means of the fastening means. The design according to the invention is based on the recognition that conventional cat furniture does not really meet the requirements of domestic cats. Above all, due to the firmly joined structure of conventional cat furniture, the need of the domestic cat for customers, research, cherries, watching and laurries is neglected. The domestic cat becomes long-standing and turns away from the cat furniture. In addition, conventional cat furniture cannot be optimally adapted to living space conditions because of its inflexible construction. The inventive design serves as a supplement and extension of the life space of the cat by allowing it to access previously unoccupated territorium or creating an entirely new territorium. The invention serves as a basis for the type-appropriate upgrading of each individual residential situation to the requirements of cats. The invention allows the cats to actually "clemm" the walls and thus create new areas of movement in the home.According to an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the fastening means is designed with an edge surface extending along the polygonal edge of the surface element. The edge surface of this type extends on the polygonal edge and generally has a constant width. A side edge of the edge surface is then bounded by the polygon edge, the second side edge of the edge surface runs directed outwards, parallel to the polygon edge. According to the invention, the edge surface is advantageously designed in such a way that it forms a contact surface with its edge surface when connected to an adjacent surface element. By means of this contact surface of the two edge surfaces, a connection is then already established due to friction. In particular, however, the two edge surfaces are advantageously connected to one another by means of at least one connecting element. For this purpose, two fastening points are advantageously formed on the two edge surfaces. At these fastening points, fixed but nevertheless detachable connections are then to be produced by means of a respective connecting element. Preferably, the fastening points are each formed as a hole in the edge surface of the surface element. Matching the respective hole, the connecting element is advantageously designed as a screw connection, plug connection or as a clip connection.According to the invention, the fastening means is furthermore attached to the planar element in a foldable manner. The fastening means is then mounted on the surface element such that it can be pivoted about a type of hinge or an axis. The fastening means is to be moved upwards or downwards from the surface plane of the surface element by means of the hinge. In particular, the hinge is formed on the polygonal edge of the surface element. Advantageously, a spatial structure or a spatial object is to be produced in this way by connecting two surface elements.Preferably, the fastening means is further connected to the surface element via a perforation. Perforation is a perforation of the surface plane of the surface element with holes which are preferably in a regular arrangement. The perforation is then advantageously linear or straight along the polygonal edge of the surface element, wherein in particular the individual holes are slot-shaped. By means of the perforation, the surface element is weakened in sections. This forms a type of bending edge at which the fastening means on the surface element is to be folded off. By advantageously selecting the amount, the shape and the size of the holes, the foldability of the fastening means can be influenced.According to the invention, at least one surface element is furthermore preferably designed as a convex polygon. For a convex polygon, all internal angles are less than 180 degrees. The surface element is then advantageously produced as a triangle, square or pentagonal. With such a convex polygon, the user can join a variable cat furniture item to be configured individually in a particularly simple manner from a plurality of surface elements.Furthermore, at least one surface element is advantageously designed as an equiangular polygon, in particular in a plane. An isosceles polygon is a polygon in which all interior angles of the polygon are equally large. By means of an equiangular polygon, cat furniture can be assembled in a particularly advantageous manner, which have a regular structure on account of the same angles. Particularly advantageously, the individual surface element is formed as an isosceles triangle.Furthermore, the surface element is advantageously designed as a regular polygon, in particular in a plane. A regular polygon or isogon is a polygon in which both the sides are of equal length and all internal angles are of equal size. This type of polygon offers a particularly simple possibility of configuring a cat furniture item according to the invention. The cat furniture item is thereby designed to be variable and at the same time has a regular structure. Since preferably many surface elements have the same side lengths, the surface elements can be combined as desired. Particularly preferably, the individual surface element is formed as a regular equilateral triangle. The cat furniture according to the invention is furthermore designed according to the invention with at least one first planar element which is designed as an equilateral triangle with three first side lengths, and with at least one second planar element which is designed as a first isosceles triangle with two first leg lengths and a first base length, wherein the first leg lengths thereof each correspond to the first side length. Planar elements of this configuration make it possible for the first planar element and the second planar element to be connected to the first side length and the first leg length. The flexibility and variety in the production of the cat furniture according to the invention is thus increased. The cat furniture according to the invention is preferably furthermore configured with at least one third planar element which is configured as a second isosceles triangle having two second leg lengths and a second base length. The third surface element is designed such that its second leg lengths each correspond to the first base length. This third surface element leads to a modular system being produced together with the first and the second surface element. In this case, a highly flexible and variant-rich overall structure is to be constructed with only three different surface elements.According to the invention, the individual surface element is finally preferably produced from felt, in particular plastic felt. Felt is a textile fabric made of a disordered fibrous material which is difficult to separate. Felt is generally felted by dry needle punching or by consolidation with a water jet which impinges on the fibrous material under high pressure. Felt is to be made from natural materials, such as wool, or from plastics. An advantage of felt for the solution according to the invention is that felt is generally moisture-repellent. The inventive cat furniture produced from felt is therefore particularly hygienic, long-lived and easy to maintain. The planar element according to the invention is produced in particular from the plastic polyethylene (PE) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The plastic felt of this type additionally has the property that it is more rigid to produce than felt made from natural raw materials. In the case of a plastic felt, the fibrous material of the felt specifically bonds and compresses better with one another during compression molding, and the felt becomes more rigid as a result. The felt modules thus easy to maintain can be returned to the respective material circuit at the end of their product life in a single type. The advantages achieved with the invention consist in particular in that the product according to the invention can be manufactured from at most two materials which can be completely separated from one another, supplied in a flat package and can be re-installed and removed at any time. None of the elements of the product according to the invention have to be glued or clipped. Each product can be plugged together and temporarily screwed together with only a few handles, but can likewise easily be released and converted and put into an entirely new context. The material properties of the product according to the invention allow long-lived and hygienic use.Brief Description of the DrawingsAn exemplary embodiment of the solution according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the attached schematic drawings. The base element 14 comprises two plate-shaped foot elements 18 and a plate-shaped trunk element 20, the foot elements 18 being arranged so as to be supported at right angles to the trunk element 20 and forming a type of trunk root 22 towards the ground. This root 22 is designed in such a way that the base element 14 is prevented from tipping over. The three-dimensional structure 16 is assembled in modular fashion from a plurality of planar elements 24. The surface elements 24 are each designed as a substantially planar polygon and each have a fastening means 28 on their respective surface edges 26.The fastening means 28 of one of the surface elements 24 is connected in particular to the fastening means 28 of an adjacent surface element 24. The surface elements 24 which adjoin the base element 20 are connected in a fixed manner to the base element 20 by their fastening means 28 which point in each case toward the base element 20. Some of the surface elements 24 have through-openings 30.In FIG. 3, a cat furniture 10 is shown in which the base element 14 is formed as a single wall plate or base plate 32. The associated three-dimensional structure 16 is fixedly connected to the floor panel 32, which may also be fastened to a building wall or the like. As in FIGS. 1 and 2, the spatial structure 16 according to FIG. 3 is composed of a plurality of modular surface elements 24. These surface elements 24 are also connected to one another here by means of fastening means 28. The surface elements 24 adjoining the base plate 32 are connected to the base plate 32 by means of the fastening means 28 pointing towards the base plate 32. This cat furniture 10 also has a through opening, which is not shown here, however.According to FIGS. 1 to 3, the surface elements 24 make it possible to create different, different and variable spatial structures 16 by means of the fastening means 28. The spatial structures 16 can be fastened to base elements 14 of different designs. However, a plurality of different spatial structures 16 can also be connected to one and the same base element 14. The base element 14 and the respective three-dimensional structure 16 together form the cat furniture item 10, although a cat furniture item not shown here is also possible, which is composed exclusively of a plurality of surface elements 24.It is also possible to disassemble the cat furniture 10 again into its surface elements 24 and the base element 14 and to create a new, differently configured three-dimensional structure 16 on the basis of the base element 14 by means of the surface elements 24. This new three-dimensional structure 16 then yields together with the base element 14 a different type of cat furniture 10.The cat 12 can climb onto the cat furniture 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 3. The trolley 12 also has the possibility of extending through the through-openings 30 into the spatial structure 16 and of using the interior of the spatial structure 16, for example as a rest position. The cat furniture 10 can also be used, in particular with its base element 20 and also its spatial structures 16, by the cat 12 as a scraping object for sharpening the claws.FIGS. 4 to 9 show surface elements 24 in different embodiments. The surface elements 24 comprise a substantially planar base plate 34, which is produced from a comparatively stiff plastic felt. The base plate 34 is divided by means of a perforation 36 into a basic shape 38 and the respective fastening means 28. The basic shape 38 is in this case in each case designed as a planar, convex polygon, at the polygonal edges of which the perforations 36 extend. The perforation 36 is formed by means of slots 40, which are rectangular in plan view and are arranged linearly aligned and spaced apart from one another. The elongated holes 40 pass completely through the base plate 34. The perforation 36 weakens the base plate 34 in such a way that a type of hinge is formed in the associated region. At the perforation 36, the respective fastening means 28 can thereby be pivoted upwards or downwards out of the plane of the base plate 34.In an embodiment not shown here, the perforation 36 is formed by round or oval holes in plan view. The perforation 36 can furthermore advantageously not completely penetrate the base plate 34, but rather be designed as a weakening of the thickness of the base plate 34. Alternatively, a fold edge extending over the entire length of the respective polygon edge and thinner with respect to the thickness of the base plate 34 can also be formed. The respective fastening means 28 connected to the polygonal basic shape 38 has a trapezoidal shape with a first side 42, a second side 44, a third side 46 and a fourth side 48. The first side 42 of the trapezoid points toward the basic shape 38; it is connected to the basic shape 38 by means of the perforation 36. The third side 46 of the trapezoid extends parallel to the first side 42. the second side 44 and the fourth side 48 taper toward the third side 46 at the respective ends of the trapezoid. The corner angles of this bevel are designed to be of the same size as the adjacent corner angles of the polygonal basic shape 38.The fastening means 28 has two fastening points 50 at the respective end regions of the trapezoid. The fastening points 50 are designed as holes in the base plate 34. A connecting element 52 according to FIG. 10 is to be guided through each of these fastening points 50. By means of the connecting element 52, side-by-side surface elements 24 are to be connected to one another in this way.FIG. 4 shows a surface element 24 whose polygonal basic shape 38 is designed as an equilateral triangle 54 each having a first side length 56.FIG. 5 shows a surface element 24 with an isosceles triangle 58 as a polygonal basic shape 38. The two legs of isosceles triangle 58 are of equal length to first side length 56 of FIG. 4.According to FIG. 6, the planar element 24 there is configured as an isosceles triangle 58, the basic shape 38 of which has the first side length 56 as the base and the two limbs have the length of the first base length 60.FIG. 7 shows a surface element 24 in which the base plate 34 is composed of two basic shapes 38 and four fastening means 28 connected to the two basic shapes 38. As in FIG. 4, the basic shapes 38 are two equilateral triangles 54 each having a first side length 56. A first basic shape 62 of these two basic shapes 38 is connected to the then second basic shape 64 at a connecting edge 66, which is configured by means of a perforation 36. As already explained, this perforation 36 acts as a type of hinge by means of which the base plate 34 is to be bent approximately centrally. By means of the bending, a three-dimensional planar structure is thus to be produced. The fastening means 28 are likewise coupled to the two basic shapes 38 by means of a perforation 36 in each case. By means of the fastening means 28, this surface element 24 can then be connected to other surface elements 24 to form a larger three-dimensional structure 16. In addition, the planar element 24 is to be connected to a base element 20 or a base plate 32 by the fastening means 28.Not shown here, the base plate 34 according to FIG. 7 can also be composed of two isosceles triangles 58 according to FIGS. 5 and 6 and with surrounding fastening means 28. The connecting edge 66 has either the first side length 56 or the first base length 60.The surface element 24 according to FIG. 7 makes it possible to assemble a three-dimensional structure more quickly, since the production of a connection of two surface elements 24 according to FIGS. 4 to 6 is dispensed with.FIG. 8 shows a surface element 24 in which the base plate 34 is composed of three basic shapes 38, namely three equilateral triangles 54, and five fastening means 28 connected to the basic shapes 38. As in FIG. 7, a first basic shape 62 is connected to a second basic shape 64 by means of a connecting edge 66. A third basic shape 68 is connected to the second basic shape 64 at a further one of its polygonal edges. Here too, the fastening means 28 are arranged surrounding the joined basic shapes 62, 64 and 68.The surface element 24 according to FIG. 8 makes it possible to build a three-dimensional structure even more quickly than with a surface element 24 according to FIG. 7, since the production of two connections of three surface elements 24 according to FIGS. 4 to 6 is dispensed with. In an exemplary embodiment not shown here, therefore, a surface element 24 is further composed of more than three basic shapes 38. This surface element 24 is then designed as a type of development of the respective spatial structure.FIG. 9 shows a surface element 24 according to FIG. 4, in which a circular through-opening 30 is arranged centrally in the base plate 34. This through-opening 30 is dimensioned in its size such that it does not extend as far as one of the polygonal edges of the basic shape 38. As also shown in FIG. 1, the through-opening 30 can alternatively have the shape of a triangle.FIG. 10 shows an embodiment of a connecting element 52 on two joined fastening means 28 of two surface elements 24. the connecting element 52 comprises a screw element 70 and a screw 72. the screw element 70 is formed with a screw sleeve 74 having an internal thread 76. A screwdriver 78 can be attached to a head of the screw sleeve 74 and the screw sleeve 74 can be rotated in this way. Finally, it should be noted that independent protection is also to be provided to all the features mentioned in the application documents and in particular in the dependent claims, despite the formal reference made to one or more specific claims, individually or in any combination.List of reference characters10 Cat furniture 12 cat 14 base element 16 spatial structure 18 foot elements 20 base element 22 root 24 surface elements 26 surface edge 28 fastening means 30 through openings 32 base or wall plate 34 base plate 36 perforation 38 basic shape 40 elongated hole 42 first side 44 second side 46 third side 48 fourth side 50 fastening points 52 connecting element 54 equilateral triangle 56 first side length 58 isosceles triangle 60 first base length 62 first basic shape 64 second basic shape 66 connecting edge 68 third basic shape 70 screw element 72 screw 74 screw sleeve 76 internal thread 78 screwdriver
