[0007] DE 196 00 351 A1 relates to a solenoid valve, in particular for burner-operated household heating appliances.

[0008] Aspects described as technical background are only intended to simplify an understanding of the technical background of the present invention, but should not be understood by a person skilled in the art as belonging to a known prior art. Summary

[0009] One aspect of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic valve for a vehicle that reduces noise and vibrations generated when a valve piston of an actuator and a core come into contact with each other, and that eliminates a phenomenon in which a spring is interposed, protruding in an outward direction, between a movement space of the valve piston and the core, wherein a core-unit-spring is assembled, thereby preventing a reduction in operating noise and performance from the outset.

[0010] To solve the aforementioned technical problem according to a first aspect of the present invention, a pneumatic valve for a vehicle is provided, comprising: a valve housing with a flow passage formed therein through which air flows; a core fixed in a central region of the flow passage; a valve piston arranged opposite at least one end of the two ends of the core and moving along the flow passage;and a damper made of elastic material, arranged at one end of the valve piston opposite one end of the core, and coming into contact with one end of the core by movement of the valve piston, wherein the damper has a protruding area extending in an outer peripheral direction at the end area that comes into contact with one end of the core, and wherein a storage space is formed between the protruding area of the damper and the valve piston, such that the protruding area can be inserted into the storage space when the protruding area is deformed by the contact pressure.

[0011] In one embodiment of the present invention, the valve piston has a jaw that supports the end region of the protruding area and an inclined surface that is spaced apart from the jaw at a predetermined distance, in a state in which the damper is supported by the jaw, and the storage space can be formed between the jaw, the inclined surface and the protruding area.

[0012] In one embodiment of the present invention, the valve housing has an inlet opening formed in an inlet region of a first end of the valve housing, and an outlet opening and a relief opening formed in an outlet region of the other end, wherein the valve piston comprises an inlet valve piston that slides in the flow passage of the valve housing to open and close the inlet opening, and a relief plunger that slides in the flow passage of the valve housing to open and close the relief opening, and wherein the valve housing may further comprise an inlet coil provided outside the valve housing to enable the inlet valve piston to slide due to an electromagnetic force, and a relief coil provided outside the valve housing to cause the relief valve piston toto slide due to the electromagnetic force.

[0013] In one embodiment of the present invention, the inlet opening and the relief opening are opened and closed by the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston, respectively, and the outlet opening can always be in contact or communicate with the valve housing in an open state.

[0014] In one embodiment of the present invention, the pneumatic valve for a vehicle can be of a normally closed type, in which the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston are arranged opposite each other at both ends of the core, such that an elastic area extending through the core area is arranged between the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston, wherein the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston are driven in opposite directions, thereby keeping the inlet opening and the relief opening closed at all times.

[0015] In one embodiment of the present invention, the inlet valve piston can move back towards the central side of the valve housing when the inlet coil is operated in order to open the inlet port.

[0016] In one embodiment of the present invention, the relief valve piston can move back towards the central side of the valve housing when the relief coil is operated in order to open the relief orifice.

[0017] In one embodiment of the present invention, the outer surface of the core is in close contact with the inner surface of the flow passage in order to divide the flow passage of the valve housing into one side and the other side, wherein the core is formed with a passage that passes through the central area, so that the flow passages of the valve housing, which are divided into one side and the other side, can communicate with each other via the passage.

[0018] In one embodiment of the present invention, the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston can slide in a state in which their outer surface is in contact with the inner surface of the flow passage of the valve housing.

[0019] In one embodiment of the present invention, the inlet valve piston is formed with an inlet flow passage groove which is notched in the side of the inlet area at the end region of the central area of the flow passage of the valve housing, wherein the end region of the inlet flow passage groove can be connected to the inlet area via a through-hole, and wherein the relief valve piston is formed with an outlet flow passage groove which is notched on the outlet area side at the end region of the central side of the flow passage of the valve housing, and wherein the end of the outlet flow passage groove can be connected to the outlet area via a through-hole.

[0020] In one embodiment of the present invention, the damper is arranged at the end regions of the central region of the opposing flow passages of the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston, and the elastic region can be arranged between the dampers to bias the inlet valve piston and the relief valve piston towards opposite sides.

[0021] In one embodiment of the present invention, the elastic region comprises a spring, wherein the spring has two end regions corresponding to regions in which the valve piston and the core come into contact with each other, and a central region between the two lateral end regions, wherein the two end regions are wound in a substantially incompressible state, and the central region may be wound in a state of providing an elastic force to both sides.

[0022] In one embodiment of the present invention, the elastic region may comprise two end structures arranged in a position corresponding to a region in which the valve piston and the core come into contact with each other, and a spring wound between the two end structures in a state of providing the elastic force in the direction of the two end structures.

[0023] By attaching a damper made of an elastic material to the end region of the valve piston towards the core, and by further adding a storage space capable of allowing the deformation of the valve piston by a pressure applied upon contact between the damper and the core, it is possible, according to the pneumatic valve for a vehicle that has the above-described means of solving the problems, to further improve the shock-absorbing effect and noise reduction achieved by the damper.

[0024] Furthermore, according to the pneumatic valve, it is possible to prevent a jamming phenomenon, which can occur when a simple spring is wound at regular intervals along its entire length, through the structural properties of the elastic area that is placed between the two valve pistons by the core, and it is possible to prevent operating noise and malfunction of the actuator(s) due to the jamming phenomenon. Detailed description

[0026] In the following, a pneumatic valve for a vehicle according to several embodiments of the present invention is described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0027] Adjustment devices that can support the waist / side / hip of a vehicle occupant and utilize a pneumatic system are used in vehicle seats. The pneumatic valve according to the present invention has a bidirectional integral structure and a readily expandable structure and can be used in pneumatic adjustment devices for vehicles as follows. For example, one embodiment of the present invention can be used in a lumbar support (waist support), a cushion adjustment device (side / thigh), a pillow adjustment device (hip / thigh), and a massage system (full-body relaxation).

[0028] In one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to simplify and split essential components that can contribute to effects such as weight / size / cost reductions by integrating inlet / outlet actuators to eliminate a flow passage and a connecting part that is required when using the independent actuator structures.

[0029] According to one embodiment of the present invention, an inlet valve piston moves towards a core to open an inlet channel or inlet opening when voltage is applied to an inlet coil, and the pneumatic pressure is provided through an outlet opening, and a relief valve piston moves towards the core to open a relief opening when voltage is applied to a relief coil.

[0030] The invention corresponds to an expandable valve structure in which additional valves can be assembled and expanded via connecting structures arranged on the outer surfaces of the respective valves. By connecting and fixing the valves via the connecting structure, adding valves is easily achieved, and it is possible to prevent air loss from the coupled valves and to achieve (higher) safety and reliability of the valves (see Fig. 3).

[0031] Furthermore, in some cases, when installing a pneumatic valve in a seat, precise pressure control is required, which depends on the system's characteristics, instead of simple flow control. According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to insert a pressure sensor into or attach it to the valve housing, thereby enabling pressure control without modifying the valve itself (a pneumatic pressure adjustment control and a magnetic actuator integral structure are used).

[0032] In particular, when the core, as the stationary region, and the valve piston, as the movable region of the pneumatic valve, come into contact, it is possible, according to one embodiment of the present invention, to reduce operating noise while the damper, made of an elastic material and mounted on the valve piston, is compressed. Specifically, it is possible to more effectively eliminate the impact and operating noise at the point of contact by providing a space or reservoir between a region of the valve piston and the damper, into which the damper can be inserted and deformed by the applied force.

[0033] Furthermore, an embodiment of the present invention is specified in which a spring with certain properties in the shape and structure of the coils is provided in such a way as to solve a problem in which the coils of the spring become entangled between the valve piston and the core when the elastic area that is arranged between the two valve pistons of the pneumatic valve is provided as a spring of a simple type.

[0034] With reference to Fig. Figures 1 to 4 of the pneumatic valve for a vehicle comprise a valve housing 100, which includes: an inlet port 132 formed in an inlet area 130 at one end of the valve housing 100, an outlet port 144, and a relief port 142 formed in an outlet area 140 at the other end, and a flow passage through which air flows, formed in the valve housing 100. The pneumatic valve further comprises an inlet valve piston 200, which slides in the flow passage of the valve housing 100 to open and close the inlet port 132, and a relief valve piston 300, which slides in the flow passage of the valve housing 100 to open and close the relief port 142. The pneumatic valve for a vehicle also has an inlet coil 600, which is provided outside the valve housing 100.is arranged to cause the inlet valve piston 200 to slide due to an electromagnetic force, and a relief coil 700 is provided or arranged outside the valve housing 100 to cause the relief valve piston 300 to slide due to the electromagnetic force.

[0035] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the inlet opening 132 is formed in the inlet area 130 at one end of the valve housing 100, and the outlet opening 144 and the relief opening 142 are both formed in the outlet area 140 at the other end, wherein a flow passage through which air flows is formed within the valve housing 100.

[0036] The valve housing 100 is divided into a side part 110 and another side part 120, as shown in Fig. 2 shown. One lateral part 110 and the other lateral part 120 are connected to each other in such a way that they are wrapped on the outside by a fastening housing 800, in a state in which the flow passages are adjacent to each other in order to be connected to each other, and whereby the coupling between one lateral part 110 and the other lateral part 120 can be fixed.

[0037] Furthermore, the inlet opening 132 and the outlet opening 144 of the valve housing 100 are formed at both ends. The inlet opening 132 and the outlet opening 144 are formed with an inlet nipple 150 and an outlet nipple 160, respectively. The inlet nipple 150 is designed to be bent laterally and can thus be attached to an inlet nipple of an adjacent valve housing, as shown in Fig. 3 shown to be interconnected. If the inlet nipple 150 is bent on both sides and formed in a T-shape, as shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the last end area, which is not connected to another inlet nipple, can be closed off by sealing it with a closure or the like.

[0038] Furthermore, a pneumatic sensor 170 can be mounted on the outlet nipple 160 of the valve housing 100 through a mounting opening 172. This makes it possible to actively control the pressure by measuring the pressure at the outlet side.

[0039] This involves, as in Fig. Figure 3 shows the inlet nipples 150 of the plurality of valve bodies 100 in a state where they are connected to each other, the last inlet nipple 150 being connected to a compressor, each relief opening 142 being connected to the Earth's atmosphere, and each of the outlet nipples 160 being connected to a respective expansion object. This makes it possible to individually control the expansion objects, such as a plurality of cushions, using a single compressor.

[0040] Furthermore, a hook structure H is formed as a connecting structure on a side surface of the valve housing 100 and can be alternately attached to a hook structure on the side surface of an adjacent valve housing. This makes it possible to build a subsystem regardless of the number of expansion objects.

[0041] The hook structure H can be formed on both the inlet and outlet sides and can consist of a hook-like male section and a groove-like female section. In the case of the male section, if either the inlet or outlet side has an upwardly curved ring shape, the other male section has a downwardly curved ring shape. This prevents rotation of the valve body when both hook structures are engaged.

[0042] Furthermore, the inlet valve piston 200 slides in the inner flow passage of the valve housing 100 in such a way as to open and close the inlet opening 132, and the relief valve piston 300 moves in the flow passage of the valve housing 100 in such a way as to open and close the relief opening 142.

[0043] The inlet port 132 and the relief port 142 are opened and closed by the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300, and the outlet port 144 can always be in contact with the flow passage of the valve housing 100 in an open state.

[0044] More precisely, as in Fig. Figure 2 shows the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300 arranged apart from each other, with an elastic area 400 placed between them and pressed in opposite directions, and thus the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300 can be of a normally closed type, which always closes the inlet opening 132 and the relief opening 142.

[0045] Since the intake valve piston 200 is arranged in a state where it is biased relative to the side of the intake port 132 compared to the intake coil 600, the intake valve piston 200 moves back to the central side or area of the valve housing 100 at an operating time of the intake coil 600, and the intake port 132 can be opened. Since the relief valve piston 300 is arranged in a state where it is biased relative to the side of the relief port 142 compared to the relief coil 700, the relief valve piston 300 moves back to the central side or area of the valve housing 100 at an operating time of the relief coil 700, and the relief port 142 can be opened.

[0046] The inlet valve piston 200 is further formed with an inlet flow passage groove 210, and the end region of the inlet flow passage groove 210 can communicate with the inlet area 130 via the through-hole A. The relief valve piston 300 is further formed with an outlet flow passage groove 310, and the end region of the outlet flow passage groove 310 can communicate with the outlet area 140 via the through-hole B.

[0047] Buffer zones 220, 320 made of an elastic material can be provided at the outer end regions of the flow passages of the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300, respectively, whereby the buffer zones 220, 320 can close the inlet opening 132 and the relief opening 142. This reduces noise and vibrations caused by operation.

[0048] In particular, dampers 230 and 330 made of an elastic material are provided or arranged at the end regions of the central sides of the flow passage, which are opposite each other, on the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300. The elastic section 400 is positioned between the dampers 230 and 330 to drive the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300 in opposite directions. This allows operating noise and vibrations to be reduced.

[0049] Naturally, dampers 230, 330 with air passages 235 or 335 are provided to allow airflow at or to the center or central area.

[0050] Furthermore, the driving force of the elastic area 400 at any time during operation on any side, namely of the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300, can be increased by such a structure, and the closing force of the side can be further enhanced.

[0051] Furthermore, an inlet coil 600, which is provided outside the valve housing 100 to allow the inlet valve piston 200 to slide due to an electromagnetic force, and a relief coil 700, which is provided outside the valve housing 100 to allow the relief valve piston 300 to slide due to the electromagnetic force, are specified.

[0052] Furthermore, a core 500 is provided in the central flow passage of the valve housing 100, wherein the outer surface of the core 500 comes into close contact with the inner surface of the flow passage in order to be able to divide the flow passage into one side and the other side.

[0053] The core 500 is designed with a passage 520 that passes through the center or central area, so that the flow passages of the valve housing 100, which are divided into one side and the other side, can be connected to each other via the passage 520.

[0054] In this process, the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300 can slide in a state in which the outer surface is in contact with the inner surface of the flow passage.

[0055] According to such a configuration, the intake valve piston 200 slides easily to the left side in Fig. 2, when the inlet valve piston 200 is actuated by the inlet coil 600. The inlet valve piston 200 slides to the left through a small space formed between the inlet valve piston 200 and the core 500. Essentially, the inlet valve piston 200 forms a completely sealed condition with the inner surface of the valve body 100. As the inlet valve piston 200 slides, the inlet area 130 fills with pneumatic pressure from the inlet nipple 150, and the pneumatic pressure is introduced into the inlet flow groove 210 of the inlet valve piston 200 via the through-hole A.

[0056] After the pneumatic pressure has been moved via the inlet flow passage groove 210 of the inlet valve piston 200 and via the passage 520 of the core 500 to the side of the relief valve piston 300, the pneumatic pressure passes to the outlet area 140 via the through-hole B, specifically via the outlet flow passage groove 310 of the relief valve piston 300, and is then supplied to the expansion object through the outlet opening 144. In this way, a desired inlet valve piston 200 is selected and controlled to expand a desired specific expansion object.

[0057] To release the pressure of the special expansion object, the relief valve piston 300, which is connected to the expansion object, is operated. When the relief coil 700 is operated, the relief valve piston 300 slides slightly to the right. Fig. 2, and the pneumatic pressure of the outlet area 140 is, in this case, expelled to the outside through the relief opening 142. In this case, the inlet valve piston 200 closes the inlet opening 132, and the pneumatic sensor 170 measures the pneumatic pressure of the outlet area 140 in order to indirectly measure the pressure of the expanding object and control the outlet.

[0058] Fig. Figure 3 shows the fixed state of a plurality of valves, wherein the valve body 100 is divided into a side part 110 and another side part 120, wherein a mounting housing 800 is coupled to wrap around the outside of one side part 110 and the other side part 120, in a state in which the flow passages are in contact with each other in order to be connected, and thus the coupling of one side part 110 and the other side part 120 can be fixed.

[0059] An inlet nipple 150 and an outlet nipple 160 are formed in each inlet opening 132 and outlet opening 144 of the valve housing 100, wherein the inlet nipple 150 is designed to be bent laterally and to be attached so that it is in contact with an inlet nipple of an adjacent other valve housing.

[0060] In a state in which the inlet nipples 150 of a plurality of valve bodies 100 are connected to each other, the last inlet nipple 150 is connected to a compressor, with each of the relief openings 152 being connected to the atmosphere, and each of the outlet nipples 160 being able to be connected to the respective expansion object.

[0061] A hook structure H is formed on a side surface of the valve housing 100 and can be attached to the side surface of an adjacent other valve housing using the hook structure.

[0062] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 1, the plurality of pneumatic valves is further completed by fixing the plurality of pneumatic valves to a single substrate 10 and electrically connecting them with a plurality of connectors 20 that are mounted in the substrate 10.

[0063] On the other hand, one embodiment of the present invention, as described in the Fig. Figures 4 to 9 show a special feature relating to the structures of the dampers 230, 330 and the elastic area 400, which is located in a contact area between the valve pistons 200, 300 and the core 500.

[0064] With reference to Fig. As described above, dampers 230, 330 made of an elastic material are provided at the end regions of the central sides of the flow passage, which are opposite each other, namely the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300, and the elastic region 400 is arranged between the dampers 230, 330, so that the inlet valve piston 200 and the relief valve piston 300 can be driven in opposite directions or to opposite sides.

[0065] As in Fig. As shown in Figures 5 to 7, the damper 330, particularly in one embodiment of the present invention, has a projecting area 331 that protrudes in an outer peripheral direction at the end area that comes into contact with one end of the core 500. Furthermore, a storage space S is provided between the projecting area 331 of the damper 330 and the valve piston 300 on which the damper 330 is mounted, into which the projecting area 331 is inserted when the projecting area 331 is deformed by the contact pressure.

[0066] According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to further improve the shock-absorbing effects and noise reduction provided by the damper 330 by adding a storage space S capable of enabling or allowing deformation of the damper 330 by the pressure applied after contact, in addition to simply eliminating the impact upon contact with the core 500 via the damper 330 made of an elastic material.

[0067] More precisely, the valve piston has 300, as in Fig. Figure 6 shows a jaw 300a for supporting the end region of the projecting area 331 of the damper 330 and an inclined surface 300b spaced a predetermined distance from the jaw 300a. The storage space S can be formed between the jaw 300a, the inclined surface 300b, and the projecting area 331. Such a structure corresponds to a structure formed in a state where the valve piston 300 is not subject to an external force in the direction of the core 500.

[0068] In the state that is in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, when an external force is applied to the valve piston 300 in the direction of the core 500, the protruding area 331 of the damper 330 can be pressed into the storage space S and as shown in Figure 6. Fig. The damper 230 is positioned as shown in Figure 7, while the protruding area 331 is deformed by compression. It is possible to further reduce the contact shock and noise with the core 500 through the deformation and placement process of the damper 230.

[0069] Naturally, it is desirable that such a configuration be applied in a similar way to the inlet valve piston 200, the damper 230 and the core 500.

[0070] According to one embodiment of the present invention, it is further possible to solve the problem in which a spring coil representing the elastic region 400 is trapped when the valve pistons 200, 300 come into contact with the core 500, via the structural features of the elastic region 400.

[0071] If the elastic area 400 is provided by a simple spring with a generally wide coil spacing, a problem may arise that the spring coil between the valve pistons 200, 300 and the core 500 is trapped by an unwanted external force.

[0072] To solve this problem, one can proceed as described in Fig. Figure 8 shows an elastic section 400 in the form of a spring having a specific coil structure. In one embodiment of the present invention, the spring representing the elastic section 400 has two end sections 410 corresponding to the contact areas between the valve pistons 200, 300 and the core 500, and a central section 430 between the two end sections 410. The two end sections 410 can be wound very tightly in a substantially incompressible state. The structure of the two end sections 410 solves the problem of trapping part of the spring coils between the valve pistons 200, 300 and the core 500. Instead, the central section 430 can provide an elastic force that pushes the valve pistons in both lateral directions, since the central section 430 is wound at a predetermined distance.

[0073] As another structure for providing the elastic range 400, it is - as in Fig. Figure 9 shows another possible structure in which the elastic region 400 has two end structures 450 and a spring 470 connected between them. Both end structures 450 are designed to be connected at both ends of the spring 470 in a simple cylindrical form.

[0074] Through a structure like in Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, it is possible to prevent a tangling phenomenon that can occur when simple springs are used that are completely wound at regular intervals, and it is possible to prevent operating noise and actuator malfunction due to the tangling phenomenon.
