Abstract
Claims
A method for coating a substrate, wherein a natural substance is deposited on a surface of the substrate by means of chemical vapor deposition under normal pressure conditions using a non-thermal plasma, characterized in that the plasma is generated in a free-jet plasma source or that the plasma is generated by means of a dielectrically hindered discharge, wherein a working gas is passed between two electrodes which are supplied with high-frequency high voltage and between which a plasma discharge takes place, wherein the natural substance is introduced into the already formed plasma or in its vicinity. Method according to claim 1, wherein the natural substance is supplied to the plasma in dissolved form, as an aerosol, in vapor form or in dispersed form. Method according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein at least one precursor is supplied to the plasma and energetically converted in such a way that a layer grows, wherein the natural substance is incorporated into the growing layer by the plasma. Method according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the natural substance used is an anti-inflammatory material, an antimicrobial or fungicidal compound, an odorant or a cell growth-promoting substance. Method according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the substrate is an implant or a textile or a dressing or a packaging or a wooden surface. Method according to one of claims 4 or 5, wherein at least frankincense and / or a conifer resin and / or gentamicin and / or tryptanthrin and / or tannin is deposited as a natural product. Method according to any one of claims 3 to 6, wherein the growing layer comprises a matrix of SiOx or TiOx. Substrate comprising a surface on which an anti-inflammatory material or an antimicrobial or fungicidal compound is deposited by a method according to any of the preceding claims.
