Abstract

Tomography device (1) for electrical impedance tomography in a measurement volume (17) with at least two measurement ports (9), wherein the tomography device (1) has at least two measurement modules (2), wherein each of the measurement modules (2) has a module control unit (7), a module radio unit (8) and one of the measurement ports (9), is designed to be controllable via the respective module radio unit (8) and module control unit (7), and the respective measurement port (9) can be arranged at a freely selectable position on a perimeter (16) of the measurement volume (17), and wherein each of the module control units (7) is designed to perform electrical impedance tomography measurements using the respective measurement port (9), characterized in that the module radio units (8) implement a WLAN standard which implements the synchronization of time bases, and that at least one of the measurement ports (9) is designedto be in capacitive contact with a medium (14) in the measuring volume (17).
