Abstract

Door handle arrangement of a vehicle door (4) of a motor vehicle (2) with a movable handle element (8) which is directly or indirectly operatively connected to a release arrangement (16) for a closing arrangement of the vehicle door (4) and which is arranged under preload by means of preloading means on a base element (12) fixedly connected to the vehicle door (4), wherein a pinch protection element (24) is provided, characterized in that the handle element (8) is pivotably mounted on an inner side (14) of the base element (12) facing the vehicle door (4) about a rotation axis (10) extending in the vertical direction of the vehicle, wherein the pinch protection element (24) is a flexible pinch protection cover which fully encloses the handle element (8) on its side facing away from the base element (12) and is attached to the base element (12).

[0001] The invention relates to a door handle arrangement of a vehicle door of a motor vehicle with a movable handle element that is directly or indirectly in operative connection with a release arrangement for a closing arrangement of the vehicle door and that is arranged under pretension by means of pretensioning means on a base element fixedly connected to the vehicle door, wherein a pinch protection element is provided.

[0002] Such a door handle arrangement is known, for example, from German utility model DE 298 02 429 U1. This door handle arrangement is intended to simplify, in particular, the design of the movable handle element and its mounting in the base element, and includes a pinch protection device to prevent the fingers of a vehicle user from being trapped. Due to the outward-facing handle arrangement, defects can occur due to excessive force applied by a vehicle user or due to the ingress of dirt. Furthermore, complete pinch protection cannot be guaranteed with such a door handle arrangement.

[0003] Furthermore, a door handle arrangement is known, for example, from DE 87 03 469 U1, which has a pivotable handle element on an inner side facing the vehicle door. A lock of the door handle arrangement can be covered by a cap to protect against icing. However, this cover does not constitute a pinch protection device as defined by the generic and must even be removed to operate the lock. A door handle arrangement with a pivotable handle element located on an inner side facing the vehicle door is also known from the prior art according to US 2006 / 0 038 418 A1. A pinch protection device is also not provided here.

[0004] The object of the invention is to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages in a simple and cost-effective manner.

[0005] This problem is solved according to the invention by pivoting the handle element onto an inner side of the base element facing the vehicle door about an axis of rotation extending upwards in the vehicle direction. The anti-pinch element is a flexible anti-pinch plate that completely encloses the handle element on its side facing away from the base element and is attached to the base element. With such a door handle arrangement, dirt or contaminants can no longer reach the movable handle element and thus cause a defect. At the same time, this also ensures that it is impossible for even parts of a vehicle user's fingers to be pinched. The simultaneous enclosure of the base element and the handle element limits the force exerted by the user.

[0006] To give a vehicle user a good tactile feeling, it is advantageous that the pinch protection cover is made of a soft plastic.

[0007] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the base element is designed in multiple parts, comprising at least an inner part, an outer decorative part, and an inner decorative part. To create the most harmonious overall appearance possible, the inner decorative part can connect to the vehicle door. The anti-pinch strip can advantageously be clamped between the inner decorative part and the outer part, as well as between the inner decorative part and the vehicle door.

The door handle arrangement 6 has a handle element 8 which is movably mounted in a base element 12 about a pivot axis 10 extending in the vertical direction of the vehicle. The handle element 8 is pre-tensioned in a known manner by means of pre-tensioning means (not shown), which return the handle element 8 to the position shown after actuation. The pre-tensioning means can, for example, consist of a spring known per se. In particular, the handle element 8 is arranged on an inner surface 14 of the base element 12 facing the vehicle door 4 such that it can be pivoted only slightly in the direction of the base element 12 in order to actuate a release mechanism 16 such that a locking mechanism of the vehicle door 4 (not shown) is opened.For design-related reasons, the base organ 12 has an inner part 18, on which in particular the handle organ 8 is arranged, an inner decorative part 20 and an outer decorative part 22.

[0011] To protect the handle 8, the associated pivot axis 10, the tensioning elements (not shown), and the release mechanism 16 from contamination and simultaneously ensure comprehensive pinch protection, a pinch protection element 24 is provided. This pinch protection element 24 is a flexible, soft plastic pinch protection cover that completely encloses the handle 8 and is positioned on the base element 12 such that it is clamped between the interior trim part 20 and the interior part 18, as well as between the interior trim part 20 and the vehicle door 4. The interior trim part 20 abuts directly onto the vehicle door 4.

Claims

[1] Door handle assembly of a vehicle door (4) of a motor vehicle (2) with a movable handle member (8) which is directly or indirectly operatively connected to a triggering assembly (16) for a locking assembly of the vehicle door (4) and which is arranged by means of pre-tensioning means under pre-tension on a base member (12) firmly connected to the vehicle door (4), wherein a pinch protection member (24) is provided, characterized by in that the handle member (8) is pivotably mounted on an inner side (14) of the base member (12) directed towards the vehicle door (4) about an axis of rotation (10) running in the vertical direction of the vehicle, wherein the anti-pinch member (24) is a flexible anti-pinch cover which completely encloses the handle member (8) on its side facing away from the base member (12) and is fastened to the base member (12). [2] Door handle arrangement according to claim 1, characterized by that the anti-pinch cover (24) is made of a soft plastic. [3] Door handle arrangement according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by that the base member (12) is designed in several parts, wherein at least one inner part (18), one outer decorative part (22) and one inner decorative part (20) are provided. [4] Door handle arrangement according to claim 3, characterized by that the interior decorative part (20) connects to the vehicle door (4). [5] Door handle arrangement according to claim 4, characterized by that the anti-pinch panel (24) is clamped between the interior decorative part (20) and the interior part (18) and between the interior decorative part (20) and the vehicle door (4).
