Abstract

A vehicle underbody (10) includes a flow control element (20) located behind a protruding element which, when viewed from a vehicle width direction, protrudes further towards the underside of the vehicle than the lower surface of a door sill (16), a front shock absorber (17) or a rear shock absorber (18), wherein the flow control element (20) is configured to control an airflow (A2) which, during a vehicle travel, flows along the protruding element from the front of the vehicle towards the rear of the vehicle.The flow control element (20) has a main part (21) and a guide part (22) which are provided on a lower part of an end part of the flow control element (20), wherein the guide part (22) is inclined in relation to the main part (21) in the direction of the rear of the vehicle such that a distance between the guide part (22) and a rear end of the vehicle decreases in the direction of an end part of the guide part (22) in the direction of the width of the vehicle.
