Retractable exterior door handle arrangement for a vehicle

Abstract

A retractable external door handle assembly for a vehicle, the retractable external door handle assembly comprising: an external door handle (20) which projects further outwards in a lateral direction of the vehicle than an external door panel (10) configuring a door of the vehicle or which can be received in an opening (12) formed in the external door panel (10); a first connecting member (60) which has a first end section which is connected to an end section of the external door handle (20) and a second end section which extends downwards along a vertical direction of the vehicle; a second connecting member (70) which has a first end section which is connected to a first side and a second side of the external door handle (20) and a second end section which extends along the vertical direction of the vehicle; a main arm (80) which has a first end section which is rotatably connectable to the external door panel (10).and a second end section rotatably connected to the second connecting member (70), and a movable block (50) connected to the second end section of the first connecting member (60) and the second end section of the second connecting member (70) and arranged to be movable upwards and downwards along the vertical direction of the vehicle.
