SYSTEM FOR TINTING AT LEAST PART OF A VEHICLE WINDOW

Abstract

System for tinting at least a portion of a vehicle window, the system comprising: a memory (38) configured to include one or more executable instructions, and a processor (36) configured to execute the executable instructions, the executable instructions enabling the processor (36) to: monitor ambient light (100) in a vehicle environment (102) via a light sensor (29) located on a vehicle (12); based on the ambient light (100), monitor one or more facial features of a vehicle occupant via a camera (37) on a steering column (104) of the vehicle (12); based on an orientation of one or more facial features, identify a point of view (POG) along a surface of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) window (31) that corresponds to the orientation of one or more facial features;and to generate a dimming spot (112) relative to the POG position across the OLED window (31); wherein the processor (36) is further configured to determine a position along the surface of the OLED window (31) that is relative to the point of view (POG) such that the dimming spot (112) superimposes a light deflection regardless of where the vehicle occupant moves their point of view (110).
