Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a laser positioning system for arrangement on hole tables.
[0002] Welding tables are used in metal construction to position components and weld them together to form a complete product. For this purpose, these tables are often designed as perforated tables. Perforated tables feature a hole pattern system in which holes of a specified diameter, which depends, among other things, on the manufacturer, are arranged at specified distances from one another. In addition to the perforated surface or tabletop, many perforated tables also have side panels or side sections. These side panels, like the surface or tabletop, can also have perforations as described.
[0003] Various mechanical aids are available to facilitate positioning and fixation. In documents WO 2018 / 229 298 A1 and EP 0 967 054 A1, a positioning device is placed on or near the workpiece, allowing it to be easily moved from one workpiece to the next. JP 2009-220 190 A discloses a positioning device in the form of a robot arm, arranged remotely from the workpiece to be positioned on a table. US 2014 / 0 007 442 A1 describes the position determination of a handheld power tool. US 2017 / 0 088 206 A1 discloses an automatic lifting system with knobs for lifting a workpiece. DE 10 2012 216 020 A1 provides a sliding system for an assembly or welding table in order to be able to adapt the size of the working area to the workpiece to be machined by sliding the assembly or welding table.
[0004] However, precise positioning with mechanical aids is still cumbersome. Therefore, one object of this invention is to provide a laser positioning system for perforated tables that simplifies positioning. This object is achieved by the features of the independent patent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0005] A laser positioning system is proposed for arrangement on perforation tables having a surface and adjoining side regions, comprising a guide rail attachable to at least one side region of at least one perforation table, a lifting column, and a guide carriage configured to engage with the guide rail and move the lifting column along the guide rail and in a horizontal direction parallel to the side region of the perforation table. A position indicator, in particular a surface laser or a cross laser, is arranged on the lifting column in such a way that, during operation, it emits a laser beam parallel, tilted, or perpendicular to the area above the surface of the perforation table.
[0006] By providing a lifting column movable on rails, a simple way to display lines above the tabletop is provided. The system's design ensures that the lines are perpendicular or horizontal to the tabletop.
[0007] The rails can be attached below the side area or directly to the side area.
[0008] Furthermore, it is provided that the position indicator is arranged on the lifting column in such a way that it can be rotated in a horizontal and / or vertical plane. Alternatively, the lifting column is arranged on the guide carriage in such a way that it can be rotated together with the position indicator in a horizontal and / or vertical plane. Thus, a line can be displayed at an angle to the tabletop.
[0009] Furthermore, it is provided that the lifting column is mounted on the guide carriage either in a stationary manner or so that it can be moved vertically. The position indicator is arranged on the lifting column in such a way that it is either fixedly attached to it and vertically adjustable in height together with the lifting column, or is arranged on the lifting column in such a way that it is vertically adjustable in height. Thus, two alternatives are presented for easily displaying lines or intersection points even at a given height.
[0010] Advantageously, a display means is provided for displaying a horizontal and / or vertical position with respect to a predetermined horizontal reference position of the position display means.
[0011] Furthermore, it is provided that the display means has a display or an analogue display for optically displaying the position with respect to the reference position and / or can transmit the position wirelessly to an external unit.
[0012] Furthermore, the invention provides that the guide rail has a base plate, an upper part of which rests against an inner region of the side area, as well as an upper web, a middle web, and a lower web projecting outward from the base plate, the outer end regions of which are flush with the outside of the perforated table. The webs form two guide grooves arranged one above the other in the vertical direction. The middle web projects from the base plate in a T-shape, and the upper edge of the upper web is at a predetermined distance from the lower edge of the side area of the perforated table. The base plate further comprises at least one first opening in a region above the upper web in a region which abuts the side region, wherein the opening is arranged such that it overlaps with a respective hole present in the side region of the perforated table, wherein at least one fastening means is provided for passing through the overlapping holes, which fastening means fastens the base plate to the side region of the perforated table.
[0013] Advantageously, the guide rail has at least one second opening in an area above the upper web and in an area adjacent to the side area, said opening being arranged such that it does not overlap any hole in the side area. A spacer is inserted into the second opening and pressed against the rear of the side area such that it brings the base plate to a predetermined distance from the side area. The second opening and the pressing of the base plate against the rear of the side area ensure that the base plate is parallel to the side area, so that the position indicator can display exactly vertical or horizontal lines with respect to the hole table or its surface.
[0014] Furthermore, the invention provides that the guide rail is formed as at least one straight rail for arrangement along the side areas and as a corner part for arrangement at the corners of the perforated table, wherein straight rails and corner parts can be fastened to one another in such a way that the guide rail completely encircles the perforated table after being fastened thereto.
[0015] Furthermore, it is provided that the guide carriage has a base body with an upper arm, a middle arm, and a lower arm arranged thereon and projecting from the base body in the direction of the guide rail. The lower and middle arms each have a first end region facing the base plate and engage around the middle web such that they engage in the guide space between the base plate and engagement regions of the middle web, the lower arm having a first guide means at its first end region, and the middle arm having a second guide means at its first end region, the first and second guide means being opposite one another such that they can guide the guide carriage in the guide rail in the guide space along the guide grooves. The upper arm is arranged in the area between the upper web and the lower edge of the side area of the hole table and has a third guide means at its first end area which is arranged orthogonally to the first and second guide means.
[0016] It is advantageously provided that the first, second and third guide means are each a roller, wherein the axis of rotation of the rollers of the first and second guide means is arranged in the vertical direction and the axis of rotation of the roller of the third guide means is arranged in the horizontal direction.
[0017] Furthermore, it is provided that the length of the arms of the guide carriage is selected such that a predetermined distance is present between the base body of the guide carriage and the end regions of the webs facing away from the base plate.
[0018] The arrangement of the guide elements ensures that the guide carriage is guided safely, but also allows it to travel around corners.
[0019] Furthermore, it is provided that a blocking means is arranged on the base body of the guide carriage, which can be brought into engagement with the guide rail in such a way that the guide carriage can no longer be moved in the guide rail.
[0020] Furthermore, a horizontally movable element is provided on the base body of the guide carriage, to which the lifting column is attached. This element allows the reference position of the position indicator to be set to the outermost edges of the hole table, thus utilizing the entire length and width of the hole table.
[0021] Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of exemplary embodiments of the invention, with reference to the figures of the drawing, which illustrate details of the invention, and from the claims. The individual features can be implemented individually or in combination in a variant of the invention.

Fig. 8 to 10 show a plan view and two sectional views of a guide carriage according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0023] In the following descriptions of the figures, identical elements and functions are provided with the same reference numerals. The components of the laser positioning system for mounting on perforated tables are described in more detail below.
[0024] Both the guide rail 10 and the guide carriage 20, as well as components thereof, in particular the screws and bolts, are advantageously made of metal, e.g. aluminum.
[0025] In Fig. Figure 1 shows an oblique top view of a laser positioning system for mounting on perforated tables 1. The perforated table 1 shown here has a tabletop 5 and side areas provided with holes 8. Also shown are the components of the positioning system described below, i.e., guide rail 10, guide carriage 20, and lifting column 30.
[0026] Fig. 4 and Fig. 4a shows enlarged views of how the components of the positioning system, i.e. guide rail 10, guide carriage 20 and lifting column 30, are connected to each other. guide rail
[0027] The guide rail 10 is in Fig. 5 to 7 and has a (precisely) flat base plate 11. An upper web 12, a middle web 13 and a lower web 14 protrude outwards from the base plate 11, i.e. in the direction of the guide carriage 20 to be later engaged therewith, which, viewed in the vertical direction V, form two first and second guide grooves 15, 16 arranged one above the other.
[0028] The central web 13 projects from the base plate in a T-shape, ie a region 131 of the central web 13 which faces away from or is opposite the base plate 11 is wider than its remaining region.
[0029] In one embodiment, the base plate 11 is arranged directly on or at the side area 2, which, however, means that the side areas 2 can no longer be used for work or can only be used to a very limited extent.
[0030] In an advantageous embodiment, the base plate 11 is arranged on at least one side region 2 of the perforated table 1 such that a portion of it rests against its rear side 4, and the lower edge 3 of the side region 2 of the perforated table 1 is at a predetermined distance from the upper edge 121 of the upper web 12, thus forming a third guide groove. The distance is large enough to accommodate the third guide means 221, 231, 241 of the guide carriage 20. The distance can also be selected such that the third guide means 221 touches the lower edge 3 of the side region 2 and the upper edge 121 of the upper web 12. Furthermore, after the guide rail 10 is attached, the outer end regions of the webs are flush with the outer side 7 of the side region 2 of the perforated table 1.This ensures that the guide carriage 20 and the lifting column 30 are parallel to the side area 2, allowing a laser beam parallel or perpendicular to the surface 5 of the hole table 1 to be emitted by the position indicator 31. In special cases, only one or two of the webs 12, 13, 14 can be flush with the outer side 7, as long as the parallelism of the guide rail 10, and thus of the guide carriage 20 and the lifting column 30, to the side areas 2 is maintained.
[0031] The visible areas of a perforated table 1, i.e., its surface 5 or tabletop and the side areas 2, have flat and smooth surfaces. The non-visible areas, i.e., the backs 4, are generally unmachined and have rough, unmachined surfaces. Since the base plate 11 is attached to the rough back 4 of the side area 2, the attachment must ensure that the webs 12, 13, 14 are flush with the outer side 7 of the side area 2 of the perforated table 1. This is achieved as follows.
[0032] The base plate 11 has first openings 17 in an area above the upper web 12, which are arranged such that they each overlap with a hole 8 present in the side area 2 of the perforated table 1. If the side areas 2 of the perforated table 1 do not have any openings, these can be added later, e.g. by milling, or replaced with side areas 2 with a hole pattern. Depending on the length of the base plate 11, a plurality of openings 17 are provided, which are horizontally spaced from one another at the same hole spacing as the holes 8 in the perforated table 1. Furthermore, fastening means 19 are provided for passing through the overlapping openings 17 or holes 8, which fasten the base plate 11 to the side area 2 of the perforated table 1.The fastening means 19 are advantageously a bolt 191 with thread, which is passed through opening 17 and hole 8 from the outer side 7 of the side area 2 and is fastened from the rear side 4 with a screw 192, advantageously with a washer 193 between the base plate 11 and the screw head.
[0033] Due to the milling of the holes 8 into the plates of the perforated table 1, a funnel-shaped bulge or bevel is usually created towards the inside. Therefore, the bolt 19, in one embodiment, advantageously has a corresponding funnel-shaped bulge or bevel at the end that points towards the outer side 7 of the side area 2 after insertion, which abuts against the bevel of the hole 8 upon insertion and forms a positive fit with it. This also specifies the insertion depth of the bolt 19. Advantageously, the bulge fits into the recess such that the bolt 19, after insertion into the hole 8, is flush with the outer side 7 of the side area 2.
[0034] Depending on the design, perforated tables 1 have different hole sizes. The bolt 19 is therefore selected according to the hole size to ensure a positive and thus secure connection.
[0035] Due to the rough surface of the rear side 4 of the side area 2, there is also a minimal gap between the base plate 11 and the rear side 4 of the side area 2, which gap can vary along the length of the base plate 11. Therefore, a further opening 18 is also provided in the base plate 11 at the part of the base plate 11 that is still covered by the side area 2. This opening 18 is advantageously arranged below the bolt 19, but can also be arranged above or next to it, as shown in Fig. 5. Through this opening 18, another screw is screwed in as a spacer 181 to a defined length, ie, until it hits the back 4 and presses against it.
[0036] As a result, the base plate 11 is aligned at a distance from the rear side 4 and thus parallel to the (flat) outer side 7 of the side area 2 of the perforated table 1. By selecting the appropriate distance, the webs 12, 13, 14 can also be aligned flush with the outer side 7 of the side area 2.
[0037] The webs 12, 13, 14 can be formed as individual parts that are attached to the base plate 11 with screws threaded through the back, which is the simplest design. However, they, one or all of them, can also be formed integrally from the base plate 11.
[0038] The T-shape of the central web 13 serves to securely guide the guide means 221, 231, 241 of the guide carriage 20 toward the base plate 11, thus preventing them from snapping out or tipping out. Furthermore, this also keeps the guide carriage 20 parallel to the base plate 11 and thus to the side area 2 of the perforated table 1.
[0039] The guide rail 10 can be formed over the entire length of the side area 2. It can be formed in one piece or from several parts 10, 10a, 10b that adjoin one another. The individual parts 10, 10a can also have different lengths, depending on the design of the perforated table 1, as shown in Fig. 1. Furthermore, corner pieces 10b may be provided to provide a circumferential rail. The corner pieces 10b are generally rails arranged at right angles to each other, formed as described above. However, the angle may also be different if the perforated table 1 is not rectangular, but, for example, hexagonal or octagonal. The principle remains the same.
[0040] Thanks to the modularly selectable rail length, several perforated tables 1 can be connected to each other and equipped with guide rails 10 to create a larger surface 5 or tabletop. Even if the side areas 2 are not perforated, corresponding holes 8 can be created, e.g., by milling, so that the proposed guide rail 10 can still be attached to them as described. The perforated tables 1 are advantageously 3D welding tables. Guide carriage
[0041] The guide carriage 20 is in Fig. 8 to 10 is shown in detail and is attached to the guide rail 10 so as to be displaceable in the horizontal direction H. It has a base body 21 with an upper arm 22, a middle arm 23 and a lower arm 24 arranged thereon and projecting from the base body 21 in the same direction.
[0042] The middle and lower arms 23, 24 each face the base plate 11 with a first end region thereof. They encompass the middle web such that they engage in the guide space between the base plate 11 and the engagement regions of the middle web 13 formed by the T-shape. The lower arm 24 has a first guide means 241 at its first end region, and the middle arm 23 has a second guide means 231 at its first end region. The first and second guide means 241, 231 are opposite one another such that they can guide the guide carriage 20 in the guide rail 20 in the guide spaces along the guide grooves 15, 16.
[0043] The upper arm 22 is arranged in the area between the upper web 12 and the lower edge 3 of the side area 2 of the perforated table 1 and has at its first end area a third guide means 221 which is arranged orthogonally to the first and second guide means 241, 231.
[0044] Advantageously, the first, second and third guide means 241, 231, 221 are a roller, wherein the rotational axis of the rollers of the first and second guide means 241, 231 is arranged in the vertical direction V and the rotational axis of the roller of the third guide means 221 is arranged in the horizontal direction H.
[0045] Advantageously, the length of the arms 22-24 of the guide carriage 20 is selected such that a predetermined distance D is present between the base body 21 of the guide carriage 20 and the end regions of the webs 12-14 facing away from the base plate 11.
[0046] The distance D makes it possible to move the guide carriage 20 around corner areas of the hole table 1 via the corner parts 10b without conversion or removal and re-attachment.
[0047] Advantageously, a blocking means 25 is arranged on the base body 21 of the guide carriage 20, which acts on the guide carriage 20 in such a way that, after actuation of the blocking means 25, it can no longer be moved in the guide rail 10. The blocking means 25 can be designed as a means actuated by a lever 251, in particular rotatable about an axis or shaft, and movable from a rest position to a blocking position. In the blocking position, the blocking means 25 rests on an area of the guide rail 10, e.g., on the transverse area of the T-shaped web 13, and thus blocks the movement of the guide carriage 20.
[0048] Advantageously, the blocking means 25 is held in its rest position by a holding means 252, such as a magnet. The holding means 252 should exert a holding force that can be overcome by manually actuating the lever 251.
[0049] Since the position indicator 31 described below is generally mounted centrally on the lifting column 30, one embodiment provides an additional element 254 on the guide carriage 20, to which the lifting column 30 is slidably mounted. This additional element 254 can be moved horizontally in both directions and can be displaced from the guide carriage, allowing the position indicator 31 to be positioned on the outer edge of the perforated table 1, and a reference position for the intended measurement to be set there. Thus, the entire length and width of the perforated table 1 can be utilized. lifting column
[0050] The lifting column 30 is attached to the guide carriage 20 and can thus be moved along the guide rail 10 in the horizontal direction H. In addition, one or more position indicators 31 are arranged on the lifting column 30 such that they can indicate a horizontal and / or vertical displacement of the lifting column 30.
[0051] Furthermore, the lifting column 30 is fastened to the guide carriage 20 in such a way that the position indicator means 31 can, during operation, emit a beam S or laser beam that is parallel, tilted or perpendicular to the area above the table top 5 of the perforated table 1.
[0052] There are several ways of attaching the lifting column 30 to the guide carriage 20, which can also vary depending on the attachment or arrangement of the position indicator 31. The lifting column can be secured against displacement on the guide carriage 20 by a locking pin 314. For example, the top of the lifting column 30 can be flush with the upper edge 6 of the table top 5 of the perforated table 1, and the position indicator 31 is arranged on the top of the lifting column 30, as shown in Fig. 2. However, the top side of the lifting column 30 can also be arranged slightly below or in a predetermined position above the upper edge 6 of the table top 5. Here, too, the position indicator 31 can be arranged on the top side of the lifting column 30. However, the position indicator 31 can also be arranged on a side of the lifting column 30 facing the perforated table 1, as shown in Fig. 3. It is important that the zero position or reference position of the position indicator 31 can be adjusted according to its use. The reference position, the upper edge 6 of the table top 5 of the perforated table 1, is particularly advantageous, since the position to be indicated is generally measured from the upper edge 6 of the table top 5 of the perforated table 1.
[0053] The lifting column 30 can be fixed to the guide carriage 20 in a stationary manner or can be displaced in the vertical direction V. The lifting column 30 can also be formed as a housing fixed to the guide carriage 20, which has in its interior a unit movable in the vertical direction, on which the position indicator means 31 is arranged, as in Fig.2. Possibilities for vertical displacement are known to those skilled in the art, so they will not be discussed in detail here. For example, the displacement can be achieved via a rail system or a cable pull arranged in or on the lifting column 30, a grid, or other known means. The displacement can be performed manually or automatically, e.g., electrically controlled.
[0054] The vertical axis of the lifting column 30 can also be rotated parallel to the side area 2 of the perforated table 1. This allows for accurate display of slopes or angles. This design can be selected if the position indicator 31 is not rotatable.
[0055] The lifting column 30 is also attached to the guide carriage 20 in a conventional manner, e.g., by screwing. This allows the lifting column 30 to be removed, e.g., for replacement.
[0056] The position indicator(s) 31 are designed in one embodiment as a magnetic strip 311 arranged below the base plate 11 with a corresponding pickup 312, which is connected to the guide carriage 20 in such a way that it can be moved in the horizontal direction H. A display 313 is advantageously provided for displaying the distance traveled or the current position relative to the reference position. This display 313 can be arranged on the lifting column 30 so that it is clearly visible to the user.
[0057] In another embodiment, the position indicator means 31 can be provided merely as a measuring tape, for example, marked or glued on the rail, in which case a corresponding indicator means should be provided on the guide carriage 20 or the lifting column 30, which is moved along when the guide carriage is moved and thereby indicates the displacement on the measuring tape.
[0058] Several position indicators 31 can be provided, each of which indicates the corresponding displacement or position in the horizontal and vertical directions. Furthermore, a corresponding sensor can be provided that measures rotation or tilt of the position indicator 31 and outputs it to a display 313.
[0059] The position indicator 31 is advantageously a laser, in particular a surface laser or a cross laser.
[0060] The proposed positioning system allows for a simple display of vertical or horizontal lines, or lines tilted in a predetermined manner, above the tabletop 5 of the perforation table 1. This simplifies work on the workpiece intended for processing on the tabletop 5. Furthermore, the full length and width of the perforation table 1 can be utilized. Furthermore, the guide carriage 20 and the corner parts 10b allow work to be carried out around the entire circumference of the perforation table 1 without the need for laborious repositioning of the position indicator 31.
