Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a rifle belt with an opening, in particular a rifle belt having an opening which advantageously facilitates the handling of a rifle.
[0002] Rifle slings are known that can be attached to rifles, for example, to carry a rifle over the shoulder. The rifle can generally also be used while connected to the sling. With such rifle slings, the user is not hindered in handling the rifle by the sling attached to the rifle. Such a rifle sling is disclosed in the publication DE 11 2010 003 893 B4.
[0003] When handling the rifle, one hand, the support hand, is generally placed on the front stock of the rifle, while a second hand, the trigger hand, is placed on the trigger. To stabilize the rifle, the rear stock of the rifle is placed on the shoulder and pressed into the shoulder using the support hand for further stabilization. To prevent the support hand from slipping, it is necessary to grip the front stock of the rifle as firmly as possible with the support hand. This stabilization step is of vital importance to ensure the accuracy of a shot. If the rifle is not sufficiently stabilized, precise handling is not possible.
[0004] One problem with handling rifles is that the force with which a user presses the rifle against one of their shoulders for stabilization is limited by the friction generated by the supporting hand when gripping the front stock. In other words, a rifle user can only press the rifle against their shoulder for stabilization as hard as they can compensate for with the gripping force of their supporting hand without slipping. Particularly if a rifle user wants to fire several shots in a row and only minimally change the target area, consistent stabilization of the rifle or repeated stabilization of the rifle is only possible if the user can apply a constant or repeated high gripping force using their supporting hand.Depending on the number of shots, the muscles in the supporting hand can become tired, making it difficult to apply the necessary gripping force to stabilize the rifle.
[0005] Furthermore, a stable grip of the front stock using the support hand can be made difficult if the support hand or the front stock of the rifle is or becomes moist. The moisture can be caused by the user sweating on the support hand or by handling the rifle in a moist environment. Therefore, there is a need to solve this problem. DE 20 2017 002 141 U1 discloses a rifle sling with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Further rifle slings are known from DE 20 2011 000 474 U1, US 9 593 901 B1, and US 3 927 808 A.
[0006] It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a rifle strap which advantageously facilitates handling by a user.
[0007] The problem is solved by a rifle belt having the features of claim 1.
[0008] According to the invention, a rifle sling comprises a first belt part with a top side and a bottom side, and a second and a third belt part, wherein the second and the third belt part are each fastened to one end of the first belt part for fastening the rifle sling to a rifle. A belt element with a first and a second end is fastened to the top side of the first belt part, wherein an engagement for a user's hand is formed between the belt element and the first belt part. By means of the engagement formed by the belt element, a force applied by a user to the belt element, preferably in the longitudinal direction of the rifle sling, is transmitted via the belt element to the first belt part by means of a positive fit.
[0009] A user of a rifle sling according to the invention with a rifle attached thereto can, in order to stabilize the rifle, reach into the recess formed by the belt element with one hand, in particular with the supporting hand, and after placing the rifle in the shoulder, advantageously press the rifle against their shoulder using the recess. This allows the rifle to be stabilized in a simple manner for firing a shot, enabling precise and safe handling. By providing the recess on the rifle sling, a user can advantageously apply the necessary force to stabilize the rifle while avoiding excessive strain on the hand muscles. Thus, a user of a rifle to which the rifle sling according to the invention is attached can apply significantly greater forces to stabilize the rifle and is enabled to fire more precise shots.
[0010] Furthermore, the rifle's stabilization is not compromised by any moisture on the rifle or the support hand. In other words, the user can grip the grip with their support hand through the loop and transfer the force required for stabilization to the rifle via the rifle sling. Neither sweating on the support hand nor handling the rifle in a humid environment can impair the rifle's stabilization.
[0011] According to the invention, the belt element is arranged substantially parallel to the first belt part, the first and second ends of the belt element are each fastened to the first belt part.
[0012] When a user handles a rifle, the user's supporting hand is typically positioned on the front stock of the rifle in such a way that their hand is essentially orthogonal to the front stock of the rifle. The essentially parallel arrangement of the strap element to the first strap part creates an engagement point that is essentially orthogonal to the front stock of the rifle or to the first strap part. Thus, the parallel arrangement of the strap element to the first strap part advantageously enables intuitive handling of a rifle connected to the rifle strap.
[0013] Preferably, the top and / or bottom of the first belt part comprises a non-slip material.
[0014] By providing a non-slip material on the top and / or bottom of the first strap part, increased friction and / or adhesion is created when the first strap part comes into contact with a part of a user's body or with a rifle. This advantageously improves the wearing comfort of a rifle attached to the rifle strap. On the one hand, a user of the rifle strap can carry and transport the rifle attached to it on one of their shoulders using the rifle strap without the rifle slipping off the respective shoulder or leaving the position intended or desired by the user on the respective shoulder. On the other hand, sideways slipping of the rifle on the rifle strap is prevented when handling the rifle. Such sideways slipping can make stabilizing the rifle more difficult.
[0015] According to a further embodiment, the non-slip material has a textured surface on the top and / or bottom of the first strap part. The textured surface of the material allows for improved friction and / or grip properties of the rifle strap.
[0016] Preferably, the non-slip material or the entire first cushioning part is made of elastic material.
[0017] The elastic properties of the material allow for damping and / or springy properties. This can advantageously improve the handling of the rifle by the user. On the one hand, a comfortable wearing comfort is achieved when the rifle is carried or transported on one of the shoulders. On the other hand, the material acts as a dampening base when handling the rifle, ensuring silent handling. For example, the elastic material acts as a dampening base when resting the rifle, for example, on a pulpit parapet, thereby preventing any unwanted noise that may arise when resting the rifle.
[0018] Furthermore, the elastic material can have a rubbery or gel-like texture. The rubbery or gel-like texture of the elastic material can result in improved cushioning and / or spring properties, as well as improved comfort.
[0019] Preferably, the belt element is made of elastic material.
[0020] The elastic properties of the strap element can further improve the cushioning and / or spring properties of the rifle sling. In particular, this allows a user's hand to move in and out of the rifle sling without making a sound. Furthermore, it enables less fatigue and more comfortable handling of the rifle, especially when stabilizing and firing a shot.
[0021] Preferably, the belt element is firmly connected to the first belt part.
[0022] Furthermore, it can be provided that the first and second ends of the belt element are each sewn to the first belt part via a double seam.
[0023] By providing a firm connection between the belt element and the first belt part, preferably with a double seam, a high degree of robustness and durability of the connection between the belt element and the first belt part is ensured. This is particularly advantageous given the high loads that occur at the connection between the belt element and the first belt part.
[0024] According to a further embodiment, it is provided that the belt element is detachably connected to the first belt part.
[0025] By providing a detachable connection between the belt element and the first belt part, the engagement part can be exchanged and replaced as needed. This can be particularly advantageous if the belt element impairs the handling of the rifle sling, for example due to a high number of load cycles or due to environmental influences such as dirt. Furthermore, the belt element can be adapted to the user's needs, for example in terms of color and size. It is also conceivable to provide a movable or changeable connection between the belt element and the first belt part, so that the position of the belt element in relation to the first belt part can be varied or the position of the belt element in relation to the first belt part can be freely selected. This makes it possible to meet the individual needs of a rifle sling user.
[0026] It is preferably provided that the third belt part has a length adjustment device.
[0027] The invention advantageously provides that the second and third belt parts have fastening elements. The fastening elements can be formed, for example, by a hook-and-loop fastener.
[0028] By means of the fastening elements, a loop can be formed with the second and third strap parts, via which the rifle strap can be attached to a rifle.
[0029] The third strap section, which forms a loop thanks to the fastening element, is adjustable in length using the length adjustment device, thus adjusting the length of the rifle sling. By providing a length adjustment device on the third strap section, the rifle sling can be easily adjusted to the user's needs, particularly to their physique. This allows for ergonomic carrying of a rifle attached to the rifle sling on the user's shoulder.
[0030] According to a further preferred embodiment, at least one of the fastening elements has a securing element. The securing element can be a positive-locking securing element.
[0031] By providing a safety element on one or both fastening elements, it can be advantageously ensured that the connection between the rifle sling and a rifle cannot come loose while handling the rifle. A spontaneous release of the connection between the rifle sling and rifle is undesirable and can lead to injuries while handling the rifle. The safety elements thus contribute to the user's safety while handling a rifle attached to the rifle sling. At the user's request, the rifle sling can be easily detached from a rifle attached to it by opening the safety elements and fastening elements.
[0032] A positive locking element can enable a particularly stable attachment of the rifle sling to a rifle and prevent the connection between the rifle sling and the rifle from opening spontaneously.
[0033] Preferably, one edge of the first strap section is double-stitched. This ensures the rifle sling's high level of robustness and durability.
[0034] Preferably, the third strap part can further be provided with anti-slip elements on one or both sides. The anti-slip elements generate increased friction and / or adhesion when brought into contact with body parts or objects, preventing the rifle strap from slipping on body parts or objects.
[0035] It can further be provided that the anti-slip elements provided on the third belt part are elastic threads.
[0036] By providing anti-slip elements on the third strap part, which are preferably made of elastic threads, a user of the rifle strap can carry and transport the rifle attached thereto on one of his shoulders without the rifle slipping from the respective shoulder or leaving the position on the respective shoulder intended or desired by the user.
[0037] According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the belt element is positioned in a front section of the first belt part, wherein the front section of the first belt part is preferably formed by that half of the first belt part on which the second belt part is arranged.
[0038] By positioning the strap element in a front section of the first strap section, the position of the loop formed by the strap element corresponds to the usual position of a user's supporting hand when handling a rifle. This allows the user to handle the rifle intuitively, without the need for prior adjustment.
[0039] In the following, with reference to the following Fig. 1 to 3 explain the invention in more detail. They show: Fig. 1 a schematic representation of the upper side of the first belt part and the second belt part according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 the third belt part from a schematic side view according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 3 a schematic sectional view of the belt element and a section of the first belt part according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[0040] In Fig. Figure 1 shows one of the preferred embodiments of the rifle sling 10 according to the invention. The rifle sling 10 has a first belt part 1 with a top side 1a and a bottom side 1b. The rifle sling 10 also has a second and a third belt part 2, 3 for attaching the rifle sling 10 to a rifle, each of which is connected to an end of the first belt part 1. The first belt part 1 has, on its top side 1a, a belt element 4 which is attached to the first belt part 1 by a first and a second end 4a, 4b. This creates an engagement 4c between the belt element 4 and the first belt element 1.
[0041] The second belt part 2 is arranged in the front region of the first belt part 1 in such a way that it can form a loop for attachment to a rifle by means of a fastening element 2a. The fastening element 2a is preferably formed by a hook-and-loop fastener. The fastening element 2a further comprises a preferably form-fitting securing element 2b, which prevents spontaneous release of the connection between the rifle belt 10 and a rifle during handling of the rifle by a user.
[0042] As from Fig. As can be seen in Figure 2, the third belt part 3 has a length adjustment device 3c through which the third belt part 3 is passed. Furthermore, the third belt part 3 has a fastening element 3a, preferably formed by a hook-and-loop fastener, with which the third belt part 3 can form a loop in order to be able to be connected to a rifle. Furthermore, the fastening element 3a has a preferably form-fitting securing element 3b. The provision of a securing element 3b prevents the loop formed by the second belt part 3 for attachment to a rifle from spontaneously coming loose during handling of the rifle.
[0043] In Fig.3 shows the first belt part 1 together with the belt element 4, with which the first belt part 1 forms an engagement 4c. The belt element 4 is arranged substantially parallel to the first belt part 1 and is fastened to the first belt part 1 via a first and a second end 4a, 4b. The engagement 4c formed between the belt element 4 and the first belt part 1 is, when the rifle belt 10 is fastened to a rifle, directed substantially orthogonally to the front stock of the rifle. According to the preferred embodiment, the first and second ends 4a, 4b of the belt element 4 are each fastened to the first belt part 1 via a double seam 4d.
[0044] To handle a rifle together with a rifle sling 10 according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rifle sling 10 is first connected to the rifle to be handled. To do this, the fastening elements 2a, 2b and the securing elements 2b, 3b are first opened. Subsequently, the second strap part 2 is passed through an eyelet arranged on the rifle, usually on the barrel of a rifle, and the shape of a loop is formed with the second strap part 2 by closing the securing element 2b and the fastening element 2a. In the same way, the third strap part 3 is connected to an eyelet provided on the rifle, usually on the buttstock of a rifle. The order in which the second strap part 2 and the third strap part 3 are attached to the provided eyelets is freely selectable and is irrelevant for the use of the rifle sling 10 according to the invention. After the rifle strap 10 is attached to the rifle to be handled, the length of the rifle strap 10 is adjusted to the needs of the respective user by means of the length adjustment device 13c.
[0045] After connecting the rifle sling 10 to the rifle, handling can be carried out, for example, as follows: The user of the rifle sling 10 guides their support hand through the opening 4c, which is formed by the belt element 4 attached to the first belt part 1. The user's trigger hand is guided to the trigger of the rifle in the usual way. To stabilize the rifle, the rear stock of the rifle is inserted into the shoulder and pressed into the shoulder by means of the support hand located in the opening 4c. The stabilizing force applied by the support hand or the support arm is transferred in a form-fitting manner to the belt element 4 or the first belt part 1 when the support hand engages in the opening 4c, and further to the rifle via the second belt part 2 and the eyelet provided on the rifle.
[0046] The rifle belt 10 according to the invention advantageously facilitates the handling of a rifle, in particular the stabilization of the rifle.
