Abstract
Direct-connect compression spring terminal (1) for connecting a conductor end (5), in particular for connecting a stranded conductor end, comprising: a. a clamping cage (2) with a busbar (21) and a clamping spring (3) for contacting the electrical conductor end (5) inserted into the direct-connect compression spring terminal (1) in a conductor insertion area (L) of the clamping cage, b. wherein the clamping cage (2) has at least one base wall (20, 20') extending parallel to a pivot direction (61) of the clamping spring (3), c. wherein the clamping cage (2) further comprises at least one or more side walls (211, 212) such that the clamping cage (2) has an L-shaped, U-shaped or rectangular cross-section perpendicular to an insertion direction for the conductor end, d. wherein at least one first contact zone (22) is provided on the busbar (21) or the clamping cage (2) for electrically contacting the inserted electrical conductor end (5), characterized in that.the clamping cage (2) in the conductor insertion area (L) has at least one projection (203) on the at least one base wall (20, 20') which extends from the base wall (20, 20') into the receiving space (200) of the clamping cage (2) so that the inserted and contacted conductor end can lie against it laterally, f. wherein the at least one projection (203) is designed as an elongated web.
