[0001] The present invention relates to the attachment of several knife holders at a predetermined distance from one another to a crossbeam of a longitudinal slitting machine. Accordingly, a method for attaching several knife holders at a predetermined distance from one another to a crossbeam of a longitudinal slitting machine, an assembly kit for at least one assembly unit for attaching several knife holders at a predetermined distance from one another to a crossbeam of a longitudinal slitting machine, a knife holder, a positioning bar for several knife holders, and a longitudinal slitting machine are proposed.
