Abstract

Device (100) comprising: a structural housing (155) comprising an internal volume; a pair of electrical terminals (171, 172) coupled to the structural housing (155) and configured to be coupled to a power supply system; a fuse element (161, 162) electrically connected in series with the pair of electrical terminals (171, 172) and arranged at least partially within the internal volume; and a liquid (151) configured to influence the temperature of the fuse element (161, 162); further comprising a sensor (174) configured to detect at least one characteristic of the device (100), the sensor (174) being arranged within the structural housing (155).
