Abstract

The invention relates to a transmission for an electric drive system of a motor vehicle, comprising a housing and a differential transmission, which is operatively connected on the input side to at least one electric machine and on the output side to a first and a second output shaft. The two output shafts are arranged coaxially to each other. The first output shaft extends axially opposite to the second output shaft. The second output shaft is at least partially designed as a hollow shaft, and the first output shaft projects at least partially into the second output shaft. A single first bearing is arranged radially between the second output shaft and a rotationally fixed component of the transmission for rotatable support of the second output shaft. A second bearing is arranged radially between the first and second output shafts for rotatable support of both output shafts.A third bearing is arranged radially between the first and second output shafts for rotatable support of the two output shafts, and the first bearing is arranged axially within the area occupied by the second and third bearings. Alternatively, a third bearing is arranged radially between the first output shaft and a bearing journal for rotatable support of the first output shaft relative to a bearing journal, the bearing journal being non-rotatably connected to the second output shaft.
