Abstract

Method for operating a motor vehicle (1) with a first driven axle (VA) to which a first electric drive motor (2) and a first brake mechanism (3) are assigned, and a second driven axle (HA) to which a second electric drive motor (4) and a second brake mechanism (5) are assigned, in a hill hold operation (HHB), wherein the first brake mechanism and the second brake mechanism are configured to brake the two axles with a predetermined brake torque distribution, comprising: - Identifying a slope holding requirement (X) for the motor vehicle, - Determining a compensation moment distribution on the two axes according to the predetermined braking torque distribution, in accordance with the slope stabilization requirement, - Applying a drive compensation torque (M_K,A,VA; M_K,A,HA) according to the compensation torque distribution by means of the respective assigned drive machine, - Replacing the drive compensation torques with brake compensation torques (M_K,B,VA; M_K,B,HA) applied by means of the respective brake mechanism.
