Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a handle module for a motor vehicle door having the features of the preamble of claim 1 and a motor vehicle door with such a handle module. Motor vehicle doors with handle modules are known in various designs from the prior art. The familiar handle modules typically comprise a mounting frame and a handle unit with a cover plate. The handle unit is movably mounted within the mounting frame between a rest position and an operating position. In the rest position, the cover plate is flush with the outer surface of the vehicle door skin. In the operating position, the cover plate protrudes outwards beyond the door skin. To ensure that the cover is flush with the outside of the door skin in the rest position, mounting aids are used for mounting the handle unit to the mounting frame in the known handle modules. The assembly of the familiar handle modules is therefore labor-intensive and requires additional assembly aids. From DE 101 05 493 A1, an exterior door handle for a vehicle is known. A handle recess of the door handle is to be attached to the vehicle door via a pin / slot connection and a fastening element accessible from the door face when the vehicle door is open. DE 199 61 370 A1 describes an external door handle arrangement for a motor vehicle door and a method for its installation. Furthermore, DE 10 2006 031 754 A1 describes an interior door handle for a motor vehicle door. The object of the present invention is to provide a handle module that can be easily mounted. Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a motor vehicle door with such a handle module. This problem is solved according to the invention by the handle module for a motor vehicle with the features of claim 1. According to the invention, a handle module for a motor vehicle is provided, comprising a mounting frame that can be fixed to the motor vehicle door, in particular to the outer skin of the motor vehicle door, a handle unit, a locking mechanism, and a locking arrangement. The handle unit is secured in a defined position relative to the mounting frame by means of the locking mechanism and the locking arrangement. This position corresponds to a transverse direction of the motor vehicle when the door is closed and the handle module is installed in a functional state. The core idea of the invention is therefore to secure the handle module to the mounting frame in the transverse direction of the motor vehicle at a defined position, in particular the handle unit relative to the mounting frame, by means of two arrangements, namely the single-shoe arrangement and the locking arrangement. This allows for easy and precise mounting of the handle unit to the mounting frame without the need for mounting aids. The single-shoe arrangement is, for example, arranged at a first end of the handle module in the longitudinal or vertical direction, whereas the locking arrangement is provided at a second end of the handle module in the longitudinal or vertical direction. The handle unit includes, for example, a cover and a handle support. The handle support is rigidly fixed to the mounting frame, i.e., it cannot move. The aperture can be movably mounted in the handle bracket between a rest position and an operating position. In its resting position, the cover is, for example, flush with one outer surface of the door skin. In the operating position, the cover can protrude outwards beyond the outer door skin. The mounting frame is glued to the vehicle door. The mounting frame is glued to the outer skin of the vehicle door. For example, the mounting frame can be fixed to an inside of the outer skin of the vehicle door, which, in a functional installation state of the vehicle door on a vehicle, faces an interior of the vehicle. In a preferred embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the locking arrangement secures the handle unit to the mounting frame in the longitudinal direction and / or in the vertical direction. In a functional installation state of the handle module in the motor vehicle, with the door closed, the longitudinal direction can correspond to a motor vehicle longitudinal direction. The upward direction corresponds, for example, to a vehicle-specific upward direction in a functionally installed state of the handle module in the motor vehicle. Furthermore, the handle module includes the single-shoe arrangement, a single-shoe element, and a single-shoe receptacle. The single-shoe element is, for example, arranged on the mounting frame, and the single-shoe receptacle is, for example, formed on the handle unit. Alternatively, the single-shoe element can be arranged on the handle unit and the single-shoe receptacle can be formed on the mounting frame. Furthermore, the single-shoe element in the single-shoe receptacle is rotatable about a rotation axis extending in the vertical direction. In an exemplary embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the locking arrangement comprises a locking element and a locking counter-element. The locking element can be secured to the locking counter-element by rotating the handle unit about the axis of rotation. In a preferred embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the shoe element can be inserted into the shoe receptacle by sliding it longitudinally in a first direction. Further movement of the shoe element into the shoe receptacle in the first direction is prevented, for example, by the shoe receptacle when the shoe element is arranged in the shoe receptacle. The single-shoe mount, for example, has a T-shaped profile or, conversely, an L-shaped profile, which extends transversely away from a base body of the mounting frame, particularly in the direction of the vehicle interior. The single-shoe element can be cylindrical or have the shape of a partial cylinder. This allows the single-shoe element to rotate within the single-shoe receptacle. The cylinder extends, for example, in the vertical direction or in the longitudinal direction. In an exemplary embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the single-shoe element is movable in the single-shoe receptacle in the vertical direction and / or in the longitudinal direction. The single-shoe element is secured in the single-shoe receptacle in a defined position in the transverse direction, meaning it cannot be moved. In a preferred embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the locking arrangement is a clip, a latch, a screw, a push-push and / or a bayonet connection. For example, the locking arrangement comprises a locking element and a locking counter-element. The locking element can be inserted into the locking counter-element by elastic deformation of the locking element and / or the locking counter-element in the longitudinal direction and / or vertical direction. The locking element and the locking counter-element are, for example, rigid in the transverse direction, i.e., not elastically deformable, so that precise positioning of the handle unit relative to the mounting frame in the transverse direction is ensured via the locking arrangement. In a preferred embodiment, the handle module according to the invention comprises at least one dome extending in a transverse direction and a recess corresponding to the dome. The dome can be arranged on the mounting frame or on the handle unit, and the recess can be designed on the handle unit or the mounting frame in such a way that, in a mounted state of the handle module, the dome is arranged in the recess in such a way that the dome, together with the recess, secures the handle unit and a mounting frame in a defined position in the longitudinal and / or vertical direction. The handle module can include two domes and two recesses corresponding to the domes. In an exemplary embodiment of the handle module according to the invention, the dome is closer in the longitudinal direction to the locking arrangement than to the single-shoe arrangement. The dome, for example, is at least twice as far away from the single-shoe arrangement, and in particular at least three times as far away as from the locking arrangement. For example, the dome is aligned vertically with the locking mechanism. In the longitudinal direction, the dome therefore has, for example, the same position as the locking mechanism. Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle door with a handle module as described above. The motor vehicle door can include a motor vehicle door outer skin. The handle module, in particular the mounting frame, is fixed to the outer skin of the motor vehicle door, in particular to an inner side of the outer skin of the motor vehicle door, which in a functional installation state of the motor vehicle door faces the interior of the motor vehicle. For example, the mounting frame is glued to the outer skin of the vehicle door. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment illustrated in the drawing. Figure 1 shows a side view of a motor vehicle door 2 according to the invention, viewed from inside the vehicle. The motor vehicle door 2 comprises a motor vehicle door outer skin 4 and a handle module 6. The handle module 6 comprises a mounting frame 8 and a handle unit with a handle carrier 10 and a cover plate (not shown). The mounting frame 8 is bonded to an inner side of the vehicle door skin 4, which faces the vehicle interior. The mounting frame 8 has an inner recess 26. The vehicle door outer skin 4 includes a through-opening 24. The mounting frame is fixed to the vehicle door outer skin 4 such that the through-opening 24 is located within the inner recess 26 in the longitudinal direction x and in the vertical direction z. The mounting frame 8 can thus support a handle carrier 10 such that the cover, which the handle carrier movably supports in the transverse direction y, is movable between a rest position and an operating position. In the rest position, the cover is flush with an outer surface of the vehicle door outer skin 4 opposite the inner surface in the transverse direction y. The position of the cover in the transverse direction y therefore corresponds circumferentially to the position of the areas of the vehicle door outer skin 4 adjacent to the cover. In the operating position, the cover is moved outwards in the transverse direction y so that it projects beyond the vehicle door outer skin 4. As can be seen in particular from Figs. 2, 3, 4, 5 to 6, the handle module 6 comprises a shoe assembly 14 and a locking assembly 12. The shoe assembly 14 consists of a shoe element 16 and a shoe receptacle 18. The single-shoe element 16 is arranged in a longitudinally x first end region of the handle carrier 10, on a side of the handle carrier 10 facing the mounting frame 8. The single-shoe element 16 is cylindrical. In a functional assembly state, the single-shoe element 16 extends in the vertical direction z and is arranged in a recess 28 of the handle carrier 10. It is also conceivable to arrange the single shoe element 16 laterally on the handle carrier 10, i.e. without providing a recess 28. The single-shoe receptacle 18 is provided at a longitudinally x first end of the mounting frame 8. The single-shoe receptacle 18 has a T-shaped profile which extends from a base body of the mounting frame 8 in the transverse y direction. It is also conceivable that the single shoe receptacle 18 has an L-shaped profile which extends away from the base body of the mounting frame 8 in the transverse direction y. The locking arrangement 12 secures the handle carrier 10 to the mounting frame 8 without any play in the transverse direction y; it thus fixes the handle carrier 10 in a defined position in the transverse direction y on the mounting frame 8. For this purpose, the locking arrangement 12 comprises two locking elements 20 and two locking counter-elements 22, each of which corresponds to a corresponding locking element 20. The locking arrangement 12 is a clip connection. Specifically, the locking elements 20 are clips and the locking counter-elements 22 are clip receptacles. To allow the clips to be inserted into the clip receptacles, the clips are elastically deformable in the longitudinal direction x and / or vertical direction z. In the transverse direction y, however, the clips are rigid, thus ensuring precise positioning of the handle carrier 10 relative to the mounting frame 8 in the assembled state in the transverse direction y. A first locking arrangement 12 is arranged in the vertical direction z in an upper end region of the mounting frame 8, while the second locking arrangement 12 is provided in the vertical direction z in a lower end region of the mounting frame 8. During the assembly of the handle module 6, the handle carrier 10 is first fixed to the mounting frame 8 by sliding the insert element 16 transversely y into the insert receptacle 18. The handle carrier 10 is then rotated about a rotation axis extending vertically z until the locking elements 20 are secured to the locking counter-elements 22. The rotation axis corresponds to a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical insert element 16 when the insert element 16 is positioned in the insert receptacle 18.
