Description

[0001] The invention relates to a connection arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1, comprising a rotary shaft having at least one shaft tooth section, a hub element having at least one hub tooth section, wherein the rotary shaft and the hub element can be or are brought into a positive rotational coupling connection with one another by means of the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section, in particular by means of a transition fit. Furthermore, the invention relates to a motor vehicle having at least one such connection arrangement and a method for producing such a connection arrangement.

[0002] Such a connection arrangement is known, for example, from JP 2015-131 551 A. Other connection arrangements are known from the prior art, in which additional components are attached to secure the rotating shaft and hub element, which serve in particular to axially secure the connection arrangement. Reference is made, for example, to the following documents: EP 3 473 874 A1, DE 10 2017 104 598 A1, and JP H06-324 609 A.

[0003] In splines achieved by intermeshing shaft tooth sections and hub tooth sections, backlash caused by manufacturing tolerances or wear has previously been reduced by a transition fit or by offset tooth flanks (helical, conical, and the like). The object underlying the invention is to provide a connection arrangement in which backlash can be easily reduced.

[0004] This object is achieved by a connecting arrangement, a method for producing such a connecting arrangement, and a motor vehicle having the features of the respective independent patent claim. Advantageous embodiments with expedient further developments are specified in the dependent patent claims.

[0005] What is proposed is a connection arrangement comprising a rotary shaft having at least one shaft tooth section, a hub element having at least one hub tooth section, wherein the rotary shaft and the hub element can be or are brought into a positive rotational coupling connection with one another by means of the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section, in particular by means of a transition fit, wherein in an uncoupled state along a circumferential direction at least one intermediate element extending over a plurality of adjacent teeth of the shaft tooth section or of the hub tooth section is arranged, wherein in the coupled state, in which the teeth of the shaft tooth section and of the hub tooth section are in engagement with one another, the intermediate element is arranged between adjacent tooth flanks.

[0006] Such an intermediate element is therefore subject to corresponding joining forces when the rotary shaft and the hub element are joined together, in particular in the case of a transition fit or press fit, so that the intermediate element comes into contact or is pressed between the toothing of the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section.

[0007] In the connection arrangement, the intermediate element, when coupled, can act as a compensating element between the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section, particularly to compensate for manufacturing tolerances and / or torsional backlash. After the rotary shaft and hub element are joined, the intermediate element forms a type of compensating and force-transmitting layer between adjacent tooth flanks. Accordingly, force transmission can be realized with virtually no backlash during a rotational movement of the rotary shaft and hub element.

[0008] In the connecting arrangement, the intermediate element can be designed as a strip or band, with a width measured parallel to a rotational axis that is smaller than the length of the shaft tooth section or the hub tooth section measured to the rotational axis. This ensures that the intermediate element, in the coupled state and after deformation due to the application of force, does not extend beyond the axial length of the shaft tooth section or the hub tooth section.

[0009] In the connection arrangement, the intermediate element in the coupled state establishes a material connection between the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section.

[0010] In the uncoupled state, the intermediate element is designed as a multi-component adhesive strip, wherein in the coupled state the multiple components of the intermediate element react chemically with each other so that an adhesive effective between the shaft tooth section and the hub tooth section is formed.

[0011] The connection between the rotary shaft and the hub element can be further improved by a material-to-material bond. The optional design of the intermediate element as a multi-component adhesive strip ensures that the adhesive effect is only achieved when the appropriate force is applied during assembly or press-fitting. In this context, it is also conceivable that at least one chemical component is provided in microcapsules in the multi-component adhesive strip, with the microcapsules being broken open under the application of force during assembly.

[0012] In the connection arrangement, the intermediate element can have a length that essentially corresponds to the outer circumference of the shaft tooth section or essentially to the inner circumference of the hub tooth section. In other words, the intermediate element can be dimensioned such that, in the uncoupled state, it is arranged circumferentially on the shaft tooth section or the hub tooth section. In this context, the intermediate element can also be annular.

[0013] A motor vehicle with at least partially electric drive can have at least one connection arrangement as described above. For example, such a connection arrangement can be used for the rotary coupling connection between an electric motor and a vehicle component driven by the motor vehicle. In particular, in the motor vehicle, the at least one connection arrangement can connect a wheel bearing or a wheel flange to a drive shaft (of the electric motor).

[0014] A method for producing a connection arrangement as described above is also proposed, comprising the steps: Producing and providing a rotary shaft having at least one shaft tooth portion; Manufacturing and providing a hub element having at least one hub tooth portion; Attaching an intermediate element to the shaft tooth portion such that the intermediate element extends circumferentially over a plurality of teeth of the shaft tooth portion, or attaching an intermediate element to the hub tooth portion such that the intermediate element extends circumferentially over a plurality of teeth of the hub tooth portion; joining the rotary shaft and the hub element such that the shaft tooth portion and the hub tooth portion are brought into engagement with each other, wherein the intermediate element is arranged between adjacent tooth flanks under the action of force during joining.

[0015] In the method, after attaching the intermediate element to the shaft tooth section or to the hub tooth section, the respective rotary shaft or hub element with the intermediate element attached thereto can be stored or transported for a period of several hours or several days before the rotary shaft and hub element are joined together. This makes it possible to attach the intermediate element during the manufacture and provision of a rotary shaft or hub element, so that the rotary shaft or hub element is prepared for joining without the intermediate element first having to be attached at the joining site.

[0016] Further advantages and details of the invention will become apparent from the following description of embodiments with reference to the figures. Fig. 1 a simplified and schematic perspective view of a connection arrangement in the uncoupled state; Fig. 2 in the sub-figures A) and B) simplified sectional views of the connection arrangement; Fig. 3 a simplified diagram of a method for manufacturing the connecting arrangement.

[0017] In Fig. 1 shows a simplified and schematic perspective view of a connection arrangement 10. The connection arrangement 10 comprises a rotary shaft 12 and a hub element 14. A shaft tooth section 16 is visible on the rotary shaft 12. The shaft tooth section 16 is formed by a plurality of teeth 18 arranged next to one another in the circumferential direction. The hub element 14 is illustrated here in a simplified manner as a cylindrical element and comprises in its interior a hub tooth section 20, the teeth 22 of which are in the Fig. 1 is illustrated by dashed lines

[0018] The rotary shaft 12 thus has teeth 18 pointing radially outwards, while the hub element 14 has teeth 24 pointing radially inwards.

[0019] The rotary shaft 12 and the hub element 14 can be brought into a positive rotational coupling connection with one another by means of the shaft tooth section 16 and the hub tooth section 20, in particular by means of a transition fit. The rotary shaft 12 and the hub element 14 are, in the assembled or coupled state, offset by a Fig. 1 axis of rotation DA shown in dash-dotted lines, rotatable.

[0020] In the Fig. In the uncoupled state of the rotary shaft 12 and the hub element 14 shown in Figure 1, at least one intermediate element 30 extending over a plurality of adjacent teeth 18 of the shaft tooth section 16 is arranged along the circumferential direction UR on the shaft tooth section 16.

[0021] Fig. 2 shows in the sub-figures A) and B) highly simplified and schematic sectional views in a section plane orthogonal to the rotation axis DA. In Fig. Figure 2A shows the shaft tooth section 16 with its teeth 18. Furthermore, the intermediate element 30 is arranged circumferentially on the shaft tooth section 16. It should be noted in this context that the intermediate element 30 does not necessarily have to be circumferential. For example, it is also conceivable to arrange two or more intermediate elements 30, each extending only over a portion of the teeth 18 of the shaft tooth section 16.

[0022] Fig. 2B shows, in a simplified and schematic sectional view, a coupled state of the rotary shaft 12 with the hub element 14. In this coupled state, in which the teeth 18 and 22 of the shaft tooth portion 16 and the hub tooth portion 20 are in engagement with each other, the intermediate element 30 is arranged between adjacent tooth flanks 18f and 22f, respectively.

[0023] It is pointed out that the Fig. 2B does not show the coupled state to scale. In particular, the thickness of the intermediate element 30 between the tooth flanks 18f, 22f is shown too large for illustrative purposes.

[0024] The intermediate element 30 can be in the coupled state as shown in Fig. 2B, act as a compensating element between the shaft tooth section 16 and the hub tooth section 20, in particular to compensate for manufacturing tolerances and / or torsional backlash.

[0025] As from the Fig. As can be seen from Figure 1, the intermediate element 30 can be designed in a strip-like or band-like manner. It has a width ZB measured parallel to the rotational axis DA, which is smaller than the length WL of the shaft tooth section measured relative to the rotational axis DA.

[0026] The intermediate element 30 can be in the coupled state ( Fig. 2B) establish a material-locking connection between the shaft tooth section 16 and the hub tooth section 20. In particular, the intermediate element 30 can establish a material-locking connection between adjacent tooth flanks 18f, 22f. If the tooth flanks 18f, 22f are in positive and material-locking contact with one another, the torsional backlash between the rotating shaft 12 and the hub element 14 can be greatly reduced.

[0027] The intermediate element 30 can be used in the uncoupled state as a multi-component adhesive strip ( Fig. 1, Fig. 2A). In the coupled state ( Fig. 2B) the plurality of components of the intermediate element 30 react chemically with each other so that an adhesive effective between the shaft tooth portion 16 and the hub tooth portion 20 is formed.

[0028] As from the Fig. As can be seen in Figure 2A, the intermediate element 30 can have a length that essentially corresponds to the outer circumference of the shaft tooth section 16. In other words, the intermediate element 30 is designed to be circumferential.

[0029] With regard to the arrangement of the intermediate element 30, it should be noted that it can be arranged on the shaft tooth section 16 and / or on the hub tooth section 20. Furthermore, it should be noted that in the example shown here, the hub section 14 is designed like a hollow shaft, so that the rotary shaft 12 is received radially inward. Alternatively, it is also conceivable for the rotary shaft 12 to be designed as a hollow shaft with a correspondingly designed hollow shaft-like shaft tooth section and radially inward-facing teeth. In such a case, the hub section with radially outward-facing teeth would be arranged radially inward in the hollow shaft-like shaft tooth section.

[0030] A connection arrangement 10 described above can be arranged, in particular in a coupled state, in a motor vehicle 100 with at least partially electric drive, which is indicated by the dashed rectangle in Fig. 2B is illustrated in simplified form. In the motor vehicle, the connecting arrangement 10 can, for example, connect a wheel bearing (not shown) or a wheel flange (not shown) to a drive shaft (also not shown). The drive shaft can be connected to an electric motor.

[0031] Fig. 3 shows a simplified method 500 for producing a connection arrangement 10 described above.

[0032] In the method 500, according to a step S501, a rotary shaft 12 with at least one shaft tooth section 16 is manufactured and provided. In a step S502, a hub element 14 with at least one hub tooth section 20 is manufactured and provided.

[0033] According to a step S503, an intermediate element 30 is arranged on the shaft tooth section 16 such that the intermediate element 30 extends in the circumferential direction over a plurality of teeth 18 of the shaft tooth section 16. Alternatively or additionally, in a step S504, an intermediate element 30 can be arranged on the hub tooth section 20 such that the intermediate element 30 extends in the circumferential direction over a plurality of teeth 22 of the hub tooth section 20.

[0034] In a step S505, the rotary shaft 12 and the hub element 14 are joined together in such a way that the shaft tooth portion 16 and the hub tooth portion 20 are brought into engagement with one another, wherein the intermediate element 30 is arranged between adjacent tooth flanks 18f, 22f under the action of force during joining.

[0035] In the method 500, optionally after attaching the intermediate element 30 to the shaft tooth section 16 (S503) or to the hub tooth section 20 (S504), the respective rotary shaft 12 or the respective hub element 14 with the intermediate element 30 attached thereto can be stored or transported for a period of several hours or several days, which is illustrated by the dashed step S506, before the joining of the rotary shaft 12 and the hub element 14 is carried out according to step S505.
