Abstract
Drive for the motorized adjustment of an adjusting element (2) of a motor vehicle, wherein the drive (1) comprises a drive train (3) with several train components, wherein the drive train (3) comprises a drive motor (4) having a motor shaft (5) extending in an axial direction (X) and a feed gear (8) having an input-side and an output-side feed gear component (6, 7) for generating, in particular linear, drive movements between two drive connections (9, 10), wherein the drive motor (4) with its motor shaft (5) on the one hand and the input-side feed gear component (6) of the feed gear (8) on the other hand each form a train component of the drive train (3), wherein a torque can be transmitted from the motor shaft (5) via further train components of the drive train (3) to the input-side feed gear component (6) of the feed gear (8),wherein a speed reduction gearbox (15) having an input-side reduction gearbox component (13) and an output-side reduction gearbox component (14) is connected downstream of the drive motor (4) in the drive train (3), wherein the input-side reduction gearbox component (13) and the output-side reduction gearbox component (14), optionally together with further reduction gearbox components of the speed reduction gearbox (15), form some of the further train components, wherein the input-side reduction gearbox component (13) of the speed reduction gearbox (15) is torque-transmittingly coupled or couplingable to the motor shaft (5) and the output-side reduction gearbox component (14) of the speed reduction gearbox (15) is torque-transmittingly coupled to the input-side feed gearbox component (6) of the feed gearbox (8), characterized in thatthat a torque can be generated by the drive motor (4) in two opposite directions of rotation of the motor shaft (5) and that an axial force, in particular a compressive force, is exerted on the motor shaft (5) in the same direction regardless of its direction of rotation, which axial force is generated at least substantially, in particular completely, by a torque-transmitting interaction of at least two of the drive train components (3).
