[0017] It is based on the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 is referred to. Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective exploded view of the socket 1000 and the tool piece 100 of a first embodiment according to the present invention; and Fig. 2 shows a schematic sectional view of the socket 1000 along the section line 2-2 of the first embodiment according to Fig. 1. From the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 shows that the socket 1000 comprises a main body 1100, a through-bore 1200, a receiving seat 1300, and a contact element 1400. The main body 1100 has an outer wall 1110, an inner working surface 1120, and an inner driving surface 1130. A working space W1 is formed by being surrounded by the inner working surface 1120 and serves for inserting a tool piece 100. A driving space W2 is formed by being surrounded by the inner driving surface 1130 and serves for inserting a driving tool. In other words, the two ends of the main body 1100 respectively form the working space W1 and the driving space W2. The through-bore 1200 radially penetrates the outer wall 1110 and the inner working surface 1120 and is continuously connected to the working space W1. The receiving seat 1300 is housed in the through hole 1200 and has a bottom 1310 and a peripheral wall 1320.The base 1310 is located at the end of the through-bore 1200 near the outer wall 1110 and covers the through-bore 1200. The peripheral wall 1320 is connected to the base 1310 and is located in the through-bore 1200. A receiving space is formed by being surrounded by the peripheral wall 1320 and the base 1310. The contact element 1400 is arranged in the receiving space and partially protrudes from the through-bore 1200 and into the working space W1 and serves to engage a tool piece 100.
[0018] By combining the receiving seat 1300 and the abutment element 1400, the receiving seat 1300 can be arranged engagingly in the through-hole 1200, with the abutment element 1400 arranged in the receiving seat 1300. During the manufacturing process of the socket 1000, no additional adhesive needs to be used to fix the abutment element 1400 in the through-hole 1200. The through-hole 1200 of the main body 1100 does not require additional processing for arranging the abutment element 1400, thereby avoiding the need to increase the design complexity of the through-hole and the abutment element in conventional sockets to increase clamping stability, thus reducing the difficulty of the manufacturing process and lowering manufacturing costs.
[0019] The user can insert a drive tool, such as a pneumatic tool or a wrench, into the drive space W2, thereby driving the socket 1000 such that the locking tooth structure of the inner working surface 1120 clamps the tool piece 100 for actuation, where the tool piece 100 can be, for example, a screw nut. With the socket 1000, the clamping force exerted by the socket 1000 on the tool piece 100 can be increased by the contact element 1400 protruding into the working space W1, in order to increase the clamping stability of the socket 1000 and prevent the tool piece 100 from loosening due to unintentional shaking. The structural details of the socket 1000 are described in detail below.
[0020] It will be Fig. 2. The axial direction of the through hole I2 of the through hole 1200 forms an angle θ with the central axis I1 of the main body 1100, wherein the peripheral wall 1320 extends from the bottom 1310 along the axial direction of the through hole I2, and the outer diameter of the peripheral wall 1320 is equal to the diameter of the through hole 1200. The included angle θ between the axial direction of the through hole I2 of the through hole 1200 and the central axis I1 of the main body 1100 is 90°. In other embodiments, the angle between the axial direction of the through hole and the central axis may be less than 90°, so that the abutment element can be inserted obliquely into the receiving seat, the position at which the abutment element abuts the tool piece can be adjusted, and thus the surface area in which the abutment element abuts the tool piece can be increased.
[0021] The shape of the through-hole 1200 can be a cylinder, and the diameter of the through-hole 1200 can be 3 mm. The shape of the receiving seat 1300 is matched to the shape of the through-hole 1200 and has a cylindrical recess. In other embodiments, the shape of the through-hole can be a square column, a polygonal column, or an irregular column having multiple concave-convex surfaces, wherein the shape of the receiving seat is matched to the shape of the through-hole, but the present invention is not subject to any limitations in this regard. In this way, the contact stability of the contact element 1400 on the tool piece 100 can be increased.
[0022] The abutment element 1400 may include an abutment portion 1410 and a support portion 1420, wherein the abutment portion 1410 is integrally connected to the support portion 1420, the support portion 1420 is housed in the receiving space, and the abutment portion 1410 covers the peripheral wall 1320. The thickness of the abutment portion 1410 may taper outward from the center of the abutment portion 1410, so that the shape of the abutment element 1400 may be approximately mushroom-shaped. The support portion 1420 may impart a supporting force to the abutment portion 1410 to increase the stability of the abutment element 1400 on the tool piece 100. The integral design of the abutment portion 1410 and the support portion 1420 simplifies the manufacturing process of the abutment element 1400 and reduces manufacturing costs. The contact element 1400 may be made of an elastic material, such as rubber or an elastic plastic material, but the present invention is not limited in this regard. The contact element 1400 made of an elastic material can be deformed under force when it abuts and clamps the tool piece 100, thereby reducing wear between it and the tool piece 100 and providing sufficient clamping force.
[0023] The peripheral wall 1320 may be integrally connected to the base 1310. The receiving seat 1300 may be made of metal. In particular, the receiving seat 1300 is made of copper. Thus, by making the receiving seat 1300 of copper, the manufacturing cost of the receiving seat 1300 can be reduced and the difficulty of molding can be reduced. In other embodiments, the receiving seat may be made of other metals, but the present invention is not limited in this regard.
[0024] In other embodiments, the number of through-holes, receiving seats, and contact elements may be multiple. The through-holes extend radially through the outer wall and the inner working surface and are spaced apart from one another. The number of receiving seats and contact elements corresponds to the number of through-holes to increase stability when clamping the tool piece by the socket. In the present invention, the number is not limited to the above-mentioned number.
[0025] It will be Fig. 3, which shows a schematic sectional view of the socket 2000 of a second embodiment according to the present invention. In the second embodiment, the structure of the socket 2000 is similar to the structure of the socket 1000 of the first embodiment, and therefore will not be described again here. In particular, the through-hole 2200 and the working inner surface form a first opening 2210, and the through-hole 2200 and the outer wall form a second opening 2220, wherein the diameter d1 of the first opening 2210 is smaller than the diameter d2 of the second opening 2220. In other words, the through-hole 2200 tapers from the outer wall to the working inner surface, and the shape of the through-hole 2200 is a trapezoid in the projection plane of the cross section (see Fig. 3), wherein the outer diameter of the peripheral wall 2320 of the receiving seat can taper from the outer wall to the working inner surface to form a tapered shape, wherein the outer diameter of the peripheral wall 2320 is adapted to the change in the inner diameter of the through hole 2200 so that the peripheral wall 2320 can be aligned with the through hole 2200, wherein the maximum outer diameter of the peripheral wall 2320 is equal to the diameter of the bottom 2310.In this way, when the receiving seat is inserted into the through-hole 2200 via the outer wall of the socket 2000 along the axial direction of the through-hole I2 perpendicular to the central axis I1, the receiving seat can be engaged with the tapered surface of the peripheral wall 2320 to prevent the receiving seat from protruding into the working space W1 due to the action of an external force, and thus increase the locking strength of the receiving seat in the through-hole 2200. In the second embodiment, the support portion 2420 of the abutment element can have the shape of a cylinder and be inserted into the receiving space of the receiving seat. In other embodiments, the support portion can have a tapered shape along the direction of the peripheral wall from the outer wall to the working inner surface. After the support portion is compressed and deformed by force and then enters the receiving space, the support portion may be confined in the receiving space to prevent the abutment element from falling out of the receiving seat during the abutment process with the tool piece, thereby increasing the engagement strength of the support portion with the receiving seat. However, the present invention is not limited in this regard.
[0026] It will be Fig.4, which shows a schematic sectional view of the socket 3000 of a third embodiment according to the present invention. In the third embodiment, the structure of the socket 3000 is similar to the structure of the socket 1000 of the first embodiment, and therefore will not be described again here. In particular, the receiving seat 3300 may include a locking ring 3330, wherein the locking ring 3330 is located on the inside of the peripheral wall 3320. In particular, the locking ring 3330 protrudes from the inside of the peripheral wall 3320. The locking ring 3330 may be located on the side facing away from the bottom 3310, so that the diameter of the opening of the receiving space formed by the peripheral wall 3320 and the bottom 3310 is smaller than the inner diameter of the peripheral wall 3320, whereby the locking strength between the abutment element 3400 and the receiving seat 3300 can be further increased. The contact element 3400 can have a locking recess 3430, wherein the locking recess 3430 is provided in the support section 3420 and the locking ring 3330 is locked into the locking recess 3430. Due to the arrangement of the locking recess 3430, the width of the central portion (corresponding to the position of the locking recess 3430) of the abutment element 3400 is narrower than the widths of the front and rear portions (corresponding to the position of the abutment portion 3410 and the position of the support portion 3420, respectively), so that when the abutment element 3400 is inserted into the receiving space of the receiving seat 3300 along the axial direction of the through hole I2 perpendicular to the central axis I1, the lower end of the support portion 3420 is compressed by force, passes through the locking ring 3330, and comes into contact with the bottom 3310, wherein the support portion 3420 is defined between the locking ring 3330 and the bottom 3310.In this way, the locking strength between the abutment element 3400 and the receiving seat 3300 can be further increased. In other embodiments, the abutment element may not have a locking recess, and the support portion may be compressed by elasticity, pass through the locking ring, and be accommodated in the receiving space, thereby simplifying the design of the abutment element.
[0027] In summary, the present invention provides a socket that has the following advantages: First, the difficulty and manufacturing costs of the socket manufacturing process can be reduced by the design of the abutment element and the receiving seat; Second, the peripheral wall with a tapered outer diameter can prevent the receiving seat from protruding into the working space; Third, the arrangement of the locking ring and the locking recess can increase the locking strength of the abutment element in the receiving seat.
[0028] The above description represents only preferred embodiments of the invention and is not intended to limit the claims. All equivalent changes and modifications that can be made by one skilled in the art in accordance with the description and drawings of the invention are within the scope of the present invention.
