Abstract
Method for pairing a first device with a second device via a wireless channel, wherein the first device receives information from the second device via the channel that is characteristic of the second device, wherein the first device generates a first key of the first device by means of a predetermined algorithm based on the received information, wherein the information and the predetermined algorithm are the same as those used by the second device to generate a first key of the second device, such that both first keys of both devices are exactly the same.
