Abstract

An electric power generation system for a muscle-powered vehicle comprises a stator, a rotor, a magnet, a coil assembly, and a magnet body. The stator is mountable on the muscle-powered vehicle. The rotor is rotatably mounted relative to the stator about an axis of rotation. The magnet is located at one end of the stator and the rotor. The coil assembly is located at the other end of the stator and the rotor. The magnet body is located at least partially radially between the coil assembly and the magnet body with respect to the axis of rotation.
